Chapter 8 pt 1

No ones POV

Lucy woke up with tear stains on her cheek. She cried herself to sleep the night before and that made her really tried. She go out of bed and did her normal routine like it were any other day. The only difference is that when she wen to the guild she didn't enter. Instead she stood outside of it and stared at it for what seemed like forever. I'm really gonna miss this place she thought to herself holding back tears but failed as one rolled down her cheek. She wiped it away and sucked in a breath. She then made her way to Magnolia Park.

Once she was there, she saw Solstice waiting patiently for her under the sakura tree like she had said.

Lucy stopped a few feet short of Solstice. She looked at Lucy and put on a nice reassuring smile, but Lucy was still sad.

"Are you ready to go?" Solstice asked

"Not yet." Lucy pulled out a few letters. " there's still one more thing I have to do."
She pulled out Loke's key and summoned him. She handed him the letters and told him to give it to the guild and he disappeared.

"Are you ready now, Lucy?" Solstice asked her again. Lucy simply nodded.

"Very well then. OPEN GATE: ECLIPSE"

~~~~~~~~~~AT THE GUILD~~~~~~~~~~

Loke appeared in the guild holding the letters he was given. He walked over to the bar to Master Makarov who was talking to Mira.

"Master" he started

"Ah, Loke my child. What brings you here?"

"Here. Lucy wanted me to give this to you. There's one for the whole guild to listen to. The rest are personal."

"What's going on?" Mira asked "why are you here without Lucy?"Loke sighed before disappearing completely leaving a confused Mira. Makarov shrugged his shoulders and went to read the letters.

"LISTEN UP BRATS" he shouted earning everyone's attention. He gave out the letters but read the one addressed to the whole guild first:

Dear Fairy Tail

Now you guys are probably wondering why i sent Loke to give you all these letters. Well for starters I won't be coming back any time soon. And I'm sorry for not telling you this in person but I was afraid you guys wouldn't let me leave. But don't worry I'll come back. I haven't left the guild completely. Besides I still have my guild mark. Just think of it like when Guildarts left and came back. I won't forget anyone here and please don't try to find me. You won't be able to.

Everyone stood there shocked. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. There was complete silence for about three minutes when little Wendy finally broke the silence taking in everything they just heard. She started crying. Soon everyone else who was close to Lucy did too.

Gajeel's POV
Dear Metal Head

I'm not sure if I've told you this but I've already partially forgiven you for the whole Phantom lord incident. I know you were just following orders and didn't mean it. But if you want to be completely forgiven then you have to do me a favor. And that is to hook up with a certain bookworm -nudge- -nugde- -wink- -wink-. And if you're not man enough to do that then at least get closer to her I know how much you like her so give it a shot.

Wait a second how'd she know I liked Levy? I didn't make it that obvious right?
