Fairy Tail and the Light Sword

Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I shut it off as I slowly got out of bed. I decided to lie back down for another five minutes or so before I got up and took a quick shower. Once I finished, I put on some makeup and a white crop top with a blue heart on it. The edges where outlined with gold silk. I then put on a blue, gold brimmed jacket that went no further than my crop top. I slid a blue sleeve on both of my arms before putting on my blue skirt. I slid on my belt which contained my keys and whip. I stepped into a pair of ankle boots and started heading for the guild.

~~~~~~~~~~AT THE GUILD~~~~~~~~~

I sighed as I slumped down at the bar in front of Mira
"So what could I get for ya" she said as energetic as ever.

"Just a strawberry milkshake please" she nodded and a few minutes returned with it.
"Are you ok?" She asked sliding me my drink.

"Ya why wouldn't I be?"

"Well you seemed kinda out of it today. " she looked worried.

"I just feel a bit tired is all"

"Maybe you haven't got enough sleep last night."

" That can't be it. I went to sleep at 7 pm because I was so tired. I woke up a little later than usual at 9am today. It just doesn't make any sense." I've been feeling this way for the last month for some reason. I was feeling this way even with a full night's rest and naps in between the day. My head felt like it was on fire, but when I went to the doctor, she said I was totally fine and that there was nothing wrong. Not to mention my appetite has suddenly grown over the course of a few days.

"Hey Luce!" A voice could be heard from behind me. I turned around to see a smiling pinkette accompanied by a flying blue cat.

"Hey Natsu" I said trying to sound as cheerful as possible.

" Do you wanna go on a job with me and Happy? It pays really well!"

"Sure why not."

"Lusssssshhhhhhheeeeeeee I want fish" I rolled my eyes and looked away from happy and saw a few people approach us.

"We're coming too!" Erza said along with Gray Wendy and Charle.
"Great! Let's go!"

Natsu's POV

The train ride would be for about 2 hours and it hasn't even been half before Lucy fell asleep. She's seemed pretty tired lately. Every time I asked if she was ok and if something was wrong, she either dodged the question or told me she was ok. I am starting to get worried. Why can't you tell me what's wrong with you? I thought as I stared at her.

"Ahem" Gray said smirking

"What's so funny?" I replied

"You were staring at Lucy for awhile now" Wendy sounded so innocent as she said that.

"Ya. Talk about creepy flame brain".

"What'd you just call me ice popsicle?"

"You heard my loud and clear pyro"

"Here we go again Charle said sighing " so immature"

"Oh you wanna go Elsa?"

"You know it matchsti-"

"ENOUGH" Erza yelled as she grabbed out heads and bumped them together and let them fall to the ground. Wendy giggled as we dropped. " I don't have time to deal with your horseplay you fools. Now Natsu, what exactly is the mission?"

" We're going to some village to investigate a sword. It sounds pretty weird but meh"

"Idiot" -Gray

Before I could say anything Erza said something. "Do you know what the village is called"

"Ya it's Navi- no that's not right. Maybe Nerva- nope not it either. Ok maybe I don't know what it's called"

"It's called Navania you Pyro" Gray said sighing.

"Whatever ice princess"

~~~~~~~~~~~AFTER THE RIDE~~~~~~~~
Lucy's POV

    I woke up to sudden shaking and a soft voice. In front of me stood Natsu and that same old grin that always makes me smile. " Time to wake up Luce", he said. I slowly got up and walked out to see everyone else waiting outside with their luggage.

    We entered a forest and made our way up a mountain. It was steep and not very easy to get through. It somehow felt familiar though. Weird. We tried our best to avoid as many monsters as possible. Luckily we only ran into three which were swiftly taken care of by Natsu Gray, Wendy, And Erza. The exceeds and I just stood back and watched. It kinda made me feel useless considering I can never really do anything against enemies. If only I had the power to protect my family and those I cherish. But for now I'm stuck hiding behind my spirits as they do all the work.

    "We're here" Erza said. As I looked up, my grew eyes wide and my jaw dropped. That's why this place looked so familiar! We're in front of Navania!

"Ok now to go inside" Natsu said grinning . "I wonder how it looks like  inside with an appearance like this"  Wendy said. The village was surrounded by a huge gold wall. It had two lions in front. They were symbolized as protectors of the village.

   Erza pushes open the gates which sounded a sort of alarm. We could see people and warriors gather around the gate with spears pointed at us. Their eyes looked at me. Besides  the younger ones, they all looked shocked. Their shocked faces soon turned into smiles and grins though.

"LUCY!" they shouted. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at them all.
