No one's POV

A certain pink-headed dragon slayer rushed around the town of Magnolia looking for a certain blonde Celestial Mage whom he calls his best friend. He didn't even bother to take the letter left behind for him by his fellow guild mate. Upon hearing the disappearance of his friend, Lucy, he ran out of the guild in search of her. Of course he started off with her apartment. When he got there he entered through the window like he has always done before. He didn't care if he would get in trouble with the landlady for barging in or accused of breaking in. There was only one thing weighing on his mind: Lucy. When he couldn't find her anywhere in the apartment, Natsu started to sniff her out. He followed the fading scent of strawberries and vanilla all the way to Magnolia Park. He followed it until he couldn't follow it anymore. The smell stopped dead in his tracks just before the Sakura tree in the center of the park. He looked all around the park hoping to catch at least a small whiff of Lucy's scent. When he couldn't he stood there devastated. He stood there for hours. It would of been more if the other dragon slayers hadn't sniffed him out and dragged him back to his small house. That night, Natsu Dragneel didn't get as much sleep as he would when Lucy was there. No one in the Fairy Tail guild did.

                         ~With Lucy~

As soon as Lucy entered the portal and stepped into a whole new world she stopped dead in her tracks. She wasn't seeing something horrific, or terrifying, no, in fact it was one of the most magnificent things she has ever seen. She stood there speechless and in utter shock. She had a feeling that Eclipse would be a beautiful place but she never imagined it to be like this. The view she was staring at was like a literal combination of Edolas and the Celestial Spirit World. She stood on a plain made of flowers she's seen and never seen before. There were planets of different shapes, sizes and colors circling around her as she looked up at them in awe. Some had had rings around them much like the planet Saturn while others had stars surrounding it. Floating islands could be seen floating about everywhere with small buildings. There were even clouds that housed some people in them. To her right was a village. From where she stood it looked a bit small yet beautiful. It's inhabitants were buzzing around the village doing what seemed to be their everyday task. The houses they lived on were embedded in beautiful gems like diamonds and crystal. There was a flower bed in front of most of them and the ones that didn't have one was lined with star patterns. To Lucy's left, there was a forest. The forest gave off a golden glow when looked at it from afar. It seemed like a beautiful place but something about it seemed very odd to Lucy. She stared at the forest trying to figure out what was so odd about it but her thoughts were interrupted by a soft chuckle. A chuckle that came from Solstice

"What's so funny?" Lucy asked now turning her attention to Solstice with a small pout on her face.

"Nothing" she said with a smug smile. "But I think we best be on our way so we have time to get you settled in. Solstice led Lucy to the village she saw earlier. They could hear the whispers of the curious people as they observed Solstice and the strange girl (Lucy) walking behind her.

'Yay, Solstice has finally returned'
'Ya well she sure took her time'
'Ya but at least she's here now.'
'Say, do any of you know who that girl is?'
'I don't know but she's gorgeous'
'Hey! Eyes over here lover boy! You don't even know if she's taken already.
'Ya but no one can resist my cha- ouch! Why'd you hit me?''
'Cuz you're an idiot'
'That's no excuse!'
'Would you two stop arguing like a married couple already? Sheesh it's like I'm invisible or something.'
'Maybe you are'
'Shoot she's looking this way! Act natural!'

Lucy turned her head to look at the people who were whispering about her. The three people all started to do their own things in an attempt to act natural, which of course, failed miserably. The boy who was leaning on a pot whistling looking in the other direction while trying to mop the floor slipped and crashed into the girl on his right. A tick mark grew on her head as she kicked him to his left into the other boy who was polishing a vase. Out of reflex he punched him back towards the other direction to where the girl kicked him again. It turned into an all out soccer match with the poor boy being used as a ball. He cried for them to stop but the two were too busy trying to beat one another they didn't hear. The people around just ignored this as if it was an everyday occurrence. It made Lucy laugh as she watched the scene in front of her. They all stopped their soccer match to see Lucy laughing. It had been the first time since she even showed another emotion since she left Magnolia. They smiled at her and she gladly returned it. They all waved goodbye before Lucy continued on with Solstice. Those people really lightened the mood for Lucy and helped ease her homesickness a bit. She still greatly missed Fairy Tail though.
