In the next morning Alec was sitting on the rooftop of Jade wolf and eating Chinese food. He looked into the distance where the lake was. Since he was a wolf, he could see everything better, hear better, smell better. He still wasn't used to it, even if four years passed. His turning was still painfull and he couldn't control himself in his wolf state. "Alec!" Shouted Luke "you scared the hell out of me, I thought you were running away again", "just having my breakfast", "come down, I have a job for you". Ten minutes later Alec was inside and sitting by Luke "I thought I was too careless to have a job" he teased salty, Luke sighed "That's why I want to give you a very responsible mission, look, there is a member in Raphaels back, Magnus Bane, he comes from far away to help them finding out about Valentines hideout, you have to protect him and playing his bodyguard, got it?", "uhm..I don't think that you're serious, just yesterday you said I was irresponsible and now you want me to protect someone?", "yes, why?", "Just from one day to another?", "let's say that Magnus is your punishment and lesson at once, if you do your job well, I can take you with me and the pack on serious missions", Alec smirked "all I have to do is to protect the guy", "and help him whatever he wants, you wanted to help, so here is your chance, don't screw it up", Alec stood up "Magnus Bane is in safest hands, where is he?", "in Raphaels hotel Dumort", "oh", Luke raised his eyebrows "i know the vampires smell not very nice but I hope you can take it", "sure pfff", he quickly changed his clothes and went to the abandoned hotel.
