I pressed the button for the elevator and waited. It took longer than before, but arrived. I stepped in, the rotting smell still lingering about. I pressed for floor 1, the doors closed slowly, and I felt it descending.

I turned back to the till, the man wasn't there. I rang the bell twice again and waited. Almost immediately, he showed up. "Hello sir, what can I help you with?" He said politely. "Yeah, uh, do you have WiFi?" "WiFi.. no. Sorry." "Oh ok, thanks." He smiled and I went back to the smelly elevator.

"What?! No WiFi? What kind of place is this?" "Man, I don't know. It's just one night. We'll just have to deal with it." "Well my phones back to normal, but there's still no service." "Ok let's just go to sleep now, it's nearly 1 am." "Yeah, okay." We got ready for bed, neither of us brushed our teeth, we were pretty exhausted.
