It felt like I was asleep for days, when I woke up, it must be at least 7. Freya was still asleep. I checked the time; 1:33 am. That was it? I had fallen asleep at about 1:15.. I shrugged it off and just decided to go back to sleep. It took a while but eventually I fell asleep.

I awoke this time at 2:33 am. I fell back asleep and the next time I woke up it was 3:33 am. This time felt different though, I couldn't fall back asleep. And I felt a sinister atmosphere engulf the room. Have you ever just felt uneasy for no such reason? Well that was what I felt now. I shut my eyes but they sprang back open as if my body was preventing me from sleeping.

"Freya, psst!" I whisper-shouted. She groaned and switched sides. "Freya!" I said again, this time a little louder. "Wha- huh?" She said in a tired voice. "This is gonna sound really weird but it's only 3 am." "What? So?" "So, it feels like it should be at least 8 now." "Dude go back to sleep." I exhaled and tried Freya's advice, but to no avail.

Every second felt like an hour, as I lay in the bed desperately trying to sleep. The strange atmosphere lingered and I felt terrified lying there. Suddenly I saw movement. At the corner of the room. I attempted to move my head to see, but it wouldn't move. My head was glued to the pillow. I tried harder, to move my feet and hands, but it was useless. The thing at the corner moved closer, I couldn't see it well but I knew it's intentions weren't well. I tried to scream, but nothing came out. I was stuck. I hopelessly tried to move my head once more. The thing moved closer and closer, I could hear it... it was saying something. It breathed heavily and in a inhuman way, and finally spoke in a perverted voice: "Don't move."
