The breakfast meal had been flustering. It was exhilarating to have the Dark Prince's arctic blue eyes centred on her.

The male was handsome no doubt of that. A dangerous kind of handsome and it made Kymme willing to walk on the Dark side. The values she had been taught all her life the sole thing stopping her from breaking decorum. Alas, they didn't stop her from stealing furtive glances of the Prince. The sight of him tempting her as he sat before her, lounging on his chair, his eyes intent on her as he ate. As though he was a predator and after devouring his meal, he would still be famished and she would be his next prey. It made her body stand to attention, goose pimples rising everywhere his eyes grazed her ivory skin. She was both poised for flight and looking back with the same sizzling emotion hidden in her silver orbs.

Though she doubted he needed to hunt regularly. He was like a forbidden fruit, lounging on the chair. His dark burgundy hair that was borderline black was slicked back perfectly apart from a strand or two that fell into his eyes. It almost looked as though he had done it on purpose to draw attention to his orbs that captivated her with their intensity. His well-built form well accentuated in his expensive tailcoat and breeches. The sharp angles of his face seemingly sharp enough to cut through ice. He looked like a god.

Kymme was about finished with her meal and, somehow he already was. Perhaps it was due to her nervousness and endeavour to look like the perfect lady - by exploiting her table manners perfectly. She assumed that that was the reason why he had the chance to observe her as he graed his fingers over his lips. Her body seemed to sizzle and burn in awareness.

When she finally put the silverware down he was quick to speak before could manage to excuse herself and escape his heated gaze. It was strange as she was partly disappointed that she could not retire for some time and over think their encounter. Another part, however, was pleased with his endless attention and revelled in it.

"Would you allow me to accompany you in a morning walk in the garden, lady Kymme?" Prince Gideon asked in that deep voice of his that send shivers down her spine.

"That is very kind of you, Prince Gideon." She replied coyly, surprising herself.

He offered her his arm and she froze for a moment. If she took his arm and he was neither family nor Found - which is when one touches his or her soulmate and they recognize that they belong together -, she would break her bond with her other half. Swallowing, she asked timidly: "I apologize, my Prince, but have you been Found?"

He smiled at her in understanding. "I am afraid not my lady. You do not wish to see if you are mine?"

She felt even worse. Not solely for the fact that she would decline, but for the fact that she was so very tempted to. "I do not believe that is very possible."
