CHAPTER 4

*TRISHA'S POV*

After I exited the company, I called Elisa to inform her of how badly the interview went.

"Oh no you didn't" I heard Lisa gasps over the phone after I told her what happened

"Oh yes I did" I said,sadness evident in the tone of my voice.

"Awwwn Don't be so sad. I know there's a job out there for you. If only you would let me use my connections For you." I rolled my eyes at that

"Lisa, what do I always say about being independent?. You already got me my apartment which I'm still very grateful for . If you get me my job You and your parents might as well adopt me."

"That sounds like a great idea trishy"

"Lisa!" I Said as firmly as possible

"Ok ok fine. Get the job on your own . Got it" Lisa said but I could feel her eye roll through the phone.

"Well I got to go . Bye Lisa" I said ending the phone call.

Calling it a day,I took a taxi home. When I got to my apartment I slumped on the couch as I took off my shoes and tossed them somewhere. I decided to have a bath. I went into the bathroom to have a cool nice shower for a hot long day. While in the shower I hear my phone ringing . I rushed out of the bathroom as quickly as I can as I picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I said in a more question like manner

"Hello. I'm I onto Miss Trisha Watson?" I lady who sounded so professional asked on the other side of the line . *Hmmmmm that voice sounds familiar*

"Yes . How may I help you?" I replied trying to sound equally professional

"Wonderful. Well I'm calling From Gardner & co and I just want to inform you that you got the job"

Gardner & co??Ohh she is the lady who intervie............ Wait..what????????????

"I Got the Job!!??" I exclaimed as I just processed what she said

" Yes miss Trisha. You got the job. And you are expected to resume tommorrow at 8am . As you know the CEO doesn't like tardiness so I will advise you to come early. Have a wonderful evening Miss Trisha" . She said as she cut the call before I Could say anything

I can't believe it, I got the freaking job!! Wow I got to tell Lisa. I picked up my phone and called my best friend, she picked on the second ring.

" Hey trishy. Why are you calling me at this ho....."

"I got the Freaking job!!!!!!!!!!!" I said screaming over the phone unable to contain my happiness

*OH MY GOODNESS! You got the job!!??"Lisa said equally excited

"Yessss I got the job girlll "

"Wow. I'm so happy for you trishy. Finally Miss independent in the making"

"Thanks Lisa for everything. You are the best" I said sincerely thankful

"Heyyyy. I don't ask for much just name your First child after me and we are good"

"In your nightmares " I said laughing at Lisa's idea "well I have to go. I got a big day ahead of me tommorrow. Wish me luck!"

" Good luck trishy. Kickass " she said while hanging up the Call leaving me to get my beauty sleep For tommorrow.

I woke up 2 mins before my alarm went off

*Well who is the alarm now*

I said smiling to my self as I got into the bathroom to have my bath.
After few minutes when I'm done I decided to blow dry my hair. I have very long brown silky hair which goes right down to my waist which i like really much.

After blow drying my hair I decide to style it into a High pony tail in which I set my edges right *edges are everything .

I go into my closet and pick out a fitted navy blue dress which stop right above my knee. I paired it up with my black heels and my favorite black bag.

I get to my dresser and apply minimum make-up. Just powder, some pink lipgloss , eyeliner and mascara. I checked my self out in the mirror and I must say i looked good . With that I exited my apartment and Left for work .

I can do this.
