TRISHA'S P.O.V.

Monday rolled in quickly and to be honest, I was excited for the week. Not just because my parents called to confirm that they will be coming over to my place for the weekend but, my boss finally welcomed me as one of his own. Officially of course. I got to the office earlier than I have ever been, anyone could tell how excited I was. Mr Gardner wasn't yet In so I went to my office to get some work done. While drowning myself happily in work and some latte, I hear the intercom buzz.

Someone is around.

"Come to my office" he said and without wasting any second I was up on my feet and hurriedly walking to his office, not just because I wanted to prove to him that I could be amazing at my job, a part of me also missed his face.

Trust me, I am trying really hard to shut it out.

Getting into his office, he was typing away on his computer and I definitely enjoyed the view a lot. He had his sleeves rolled up and his hair shadowed down onto his forehead.

Not now Trisha.

"You asked for me sir" I said smiling as I walked over to his table "thank you for the other night. You didn't have to take me ho—"
"Make me copies of this and this. Also send me my schedule, l'd like to make a few changes" he said. Before I could finish talking, he placed a bunch of papers in my hand and went back to typing on his computer.

What just happened? I thought he welcomed me officially as his P.A. Maybe he wasn't the happiest in the morning. He will probably be more welcoming at noon.

Leaving his office, I went into the break room to make the copies just as he asked trying my best not to think about how he acted to me. Finishing up I went back to deliver the copies and hoping he was more inviting but unfortunately, things weren't looking great for me. Just as he gave me those bunch of papers to make copies, he kept on piling them up like he needed me to be as busy as i could be for the rest of the day. It was a rush hour for me juggling all the task i had that i didn't realize that it was lunch time. Getting my bag, i rush over to get his food but strangely he recommended a new place, i couldn't ask him why so i guessed he got tired of it.

The new place recommended was really close to the office which was really convenient for me but I definitely would miss seeing Rio during lunch hours. Picking up his meal without even getting a chance to get mine, I rush back down to the office and delivered his meal just in time. I went back to my office and began working like a maniac. After what felt like hours, I was done with my work and was very much ready to go home.
Packing up my bags I go to his office so I could inform him that I was leaving. Knocking quietly I wait for a response but oddly enough there wasn't any. I knock again and I was met with the same silence. Taking a further step I trying opening up the door but to my surprise it was locked

what could he possibly be doing in there?

Getting curious and impatient, I get out my phone from my bag and dialed his number. After a few rings he then picks
"Hello. I am out in front of your door sir and I want to kno...." I was caught off as usual before I could complete my sentence
"I thought you would have left. I am away from the office. You can go home, I am busy at the moment" and just like other times, without waiting for me to reply. He hung up. Finally getting the whole situation

So he left without even a single word. I felt so many emotions.
I thought he welcomed me. Did I read into things wrongly?

So many thoughts went through my head as I left for home.

DAVE'S P.O.V

I am a jerk I know, but I had to do what I had to do. Well technically I did tell her that I wanted to start over and welcome her properly as my personal assistant which means more work. Right?
