CHAPTER 15

*TRISHA'S POV*

I never imagined that things could escalate so quickly. He pulled me close to him and I could feel my scalp contrast at the gesture. I was fully aware of our position and I couldn't bring my self to move but just kept looking at this beautiful man who I need to remind myself every second that he is was my boss.

"From now on, you call me Dave" he said making me feel some type of way right down my stomach. For a moment I was lost in his embrace, not wanting the moment to end for some odd reason, but something in my head had me snap out of my thoughts and move away from him. Despite the fact that he was gorgeously handsome and was literally the hottest bachelor in town, I had to remind myself that I had no place in his world. He couldn't possibly see someone like me as his type, so I had to get my head out of whatever fairytale I was beginning to imagine. And top of all that, he is my boss.

"Oh my sir, there is no way I could possibly call you that. It would be very unprofessional of me" I said adjusting myself back in my seat and much further away from him.

"Suit yourself" he simply said and went back to watching the movie in complete silence. The movie went on for what felt like ages before it was finally over. He got up and made his way out of the movie room without saying a word. Awkward.

I followed behind him as he entered the living room. I didn't mind going home at this point because the silence was killing. Without altering a word he made his way to the front door and I just waited, staring at him without knowing what he was up to.
He noticed I didn't follow behind him and turned around "Aren't you coming?" He asked sort of like a rhetorical question because he didn't wait for my answer before he was headed out the door and into his car. I just follow behind him still a bit shaken and awkward about the situation that just happened during the movie.

The car ride was silent. Very silent. All I could hear was the sound of the tires moving smoothly on the asphalt. I looked over at him and all I could see was a beautiful man concentrated solely on the road ahead without any knowledge of how attractive he looks. Get your head out of the gutter Trisha. He is your boss.

After a long car ride, we finally came to halt right in front of the Grand Câlin. It was one of the most beautiful sights in the city with its beautiful interior and amazing dishes, even I knew that this wasn't just a cheap drive-thru.

Getting out of the vehicle he watched me look around like it was some heaven on earth.
"Would you rather we dine outside?. I can have them set up the rooftop" he asked making me get back to planet earth.

"O-oh no. That wouldn't be necessary" I said and with that, we went into the Restaurant and I have to say, pictures really didn't do justice to this place. It was something out of a fairytale book. I didn't want to embarrass myself and most importantly my boss so I tried as much as possible to compose my excitement. Walking into the restaurant, a lady which I assume was one of the staff came up to us.

"Lovely evening Mr. Gardner. We have your table prepared, please follow me" she said leading us to what I would guess a Vip area because it was away from the normal dining area and enclosed with a velvet colored drape so we couldn't be seen. Enclosed in the private dining area was an already set table with the best lightening and scented candles lit on the table. You could mistake this for a proposal.

We were finally settled down and given the menu to order
"This is really too much for me. I already feel bad that you had to bid that much money for me and now this... I wouldn't want you paying so much for this" I said finally telling him how I feel.
