I gawked at the scene before me. I was speechless. And Lucia Torres is never speechless, she always has something to say. Of course, it's usually rude or sarcastic but that's besides the point. Out of all the places I imagined Cameron taking us, this wasn't one of them. Actually it was far from it. Very far.
"Close your mouth." Cameron snickered, "You'll get flies in there."
I scoffed, "Since when did your opinion matter?"
Cameron smirked, "Sassy." I rolled my eyes and faced the building in front of us. It was a warehouse. Not a park, not a gym, not an ice cream shop - no, it was another freaking warehouse. I didn't sign up for this crap.
"Are you sure Aaron is in there?" I asked, eyeing the guys standing near the entrance of the warehouse. They looked dangerous.
"Positive," he turned off the car and slid the keys in his pocket. "Time to make a deal with the devil."
I raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean? You're right here."
"You're real funny, you know that?"
I shrugged, "I've been told."
He shook his head and opened the door, "Let's go." I did as I was told and quickly followed him. He was walking straight towards the guys near the entrance. I'm almost positive that he's trying to get us killed.
Once he reached the entrance the guys stopped him. "Whoa. Where do you think you're going?" Guy number one asked.
Cameron raised both eyebrows, looking unconcerned. "Inside."
The guy chuckled, "I don't think you were invited, buddy."
Cameron crossed his arms, "Didn't realize this was a wedding."
The guy looked like he was ready to punch Cameron (which I actually wanted to see) but was quickly interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Let him in," Victor strolled over to the guys, face smirking. "He's a friend."
Cameron scoffed, "Hardly."
I glanced between the two completely confused. What was the history between the Hayes and these guys?
Victor finally seemed to notice my presence and his smirk only widened. "What a nice surprise."
I made a face that clearly showed my dislike towards him. Of course, it didn't faze the guy.
"Where's Vincent?" Cameron asked, impatiently. "I need to talk to him."
Victor tore his gaze away from me to look at Cameron. "Ah, I'm afraid that's not possible."
Cameron's jaw tightened, "What do you mean?"
Victor shrugged and picked at the dandruff on his shirt. "He's gotta fight."
Cameron's eyes widened and he pushed passed Victor. I followed him inside but not before looking back. Victor's eyes met mine and he blew a kiss, I glared at him and quickly turned around to follow Cameron.
My eyes widened as I stepped inside the building. It was filled with people. Cameron had to push through crowds of people in order to move, and don't get me started on the smell. It wasn't human, I can say that much.
