Chapter 4: The Yellow Lion

(A/n) Hey guys it's been awhile. Life caught me by surprise and  got in the way. I'm so sorry for being gone for so long. As an apology, I decided to rewrite this chapter and the following chapter (which is still in the works) along with spending the next few weeks to white chapters to be published all at once.

To address a height concern that I forgot to make, I stand at 4' 11" so most of my interactions are centered around this height. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Y/n 's P.O.V
As me, Lance and Hunk run to the Blue Lion, I begin to wonder why the princess was asking Coran how I survived. I wasn't in any danger back on Earth, which just so happens to be millions of miles away and she didn't know about Earth until we told her. I shake off the thought as we reach Blue's hanger, I decided to call her Blue for short. (A/n : A ship is called a she.) We climb into Blue as we prepare to wormhole.

"Hey (Y/n), why did Allura mean by 'how did you survive'? Is there something you are not telling us!?" I hear Lance ask/yell as we wait to wormhole. Hunk nods in curiosity.

I sigh, "In all honesty, I've been wondering about that myself, but now is not the time to ask Allura, we have a lion to find."

I hear the comlink turn on as Coran speaks, "Okay Paladins, the castle only has enough power to keep the wormholes open for two of your earth hours. The scanners show that these planets are relatively peaceful so if you get trapped you can still live a long, peaceful life. Well good luck."

I stood shocked as everyone else panicked before we were taken by the wormhole and sucked off to where ever we were going.

We end up on a desert looking planet with a bunch of large cliffs. I couldn't admire the view before we were attacked by Gulra drone jets. Lance started to dodge the jets while making his way to a mining cave. As we got closer to the cave, I got a strange feeling like something or someone was talking to me, saying that the Yellow Lion was in the mining cave.

Following what the something said, I point to the cave and yelled at Lance, "Down there, the Yellow Lion is in the mining cave!"

I get a weird look from Lance, "How do you know that?!"

I don't look at him," I don't, but something is telling me it is, now dive!"

Lance dives and doges for the cave as we are still being shot at. "Hunk, I'm gonna have to drop you down at the mouth of the cave, with these Gulra fighter jets I can't land safely!"

"Wait, no. I can't do this. What if the lion doesn't accept me, what if I'm not worthy, what if I start crying!? It's to late I'm already crying!" Hunk rants in panic.

Lance gets frustrated, "Pull yourself together Hunk!"

I put my hand on his shoulder and Hunk looks at me." I'll go with you and help look."

Hunk grabs my shoulders and gives me a serious look, tears still in his eyes. "No, you're not coming with me, I don't want you to get hurt!"

I look at his milk chocolate brown eyes, " Hunk, I'm not taking no for an answer, I'm coming with you and that's my final word."

I look to Lance," Lance, launch us toward that cave! " Lance turned around, probably to object me going before I cut him off, "Don't argue, we don't have time for that. Now drop us!"

Lance steers the lion down and towards the cave before dropping us. As we fell out, Hunk tripped and I landed on him as we roll to the mouth of the cave before my back hit a rock and we stopped. Hunk stood up first and walked over to help me up. As I stand up, I feel a sharp pain in my back where the rock hit and I cringe in pain.
