*14* Dust

Your eyes darted everywhere, from corner to corner, roof to floor, the ballroom did not go unchecked as Bucky lead you towards Tony who was talking to Pepper and he slightly swayed.

"Tony?" Bucky asked staying close to your side, Tony turned around and smiled while opening his arms wide.

"Frosty!" He smiled wider and slowly swayed as he walked his way towards Bucky wrapping his arms around him hugging him tight. "I never would have thought you two would be together." He chuckled and slurred on his words.

"You're drunk..." Bucky says silently and Pepper slowly walks her way towards us.

"Are you ok?" She asked, she noticed the worried look on your face and you couldn't help but feel slightly unsafe.

"I think someone from HYDRA is here." You say and your heart tugs because you know something will go wrong, you always had that feeling. You always felt unsure of things and sure enough something bad would always happen, you had that gut feeling that made you think someone was going to get hurt tonight and your stomach whirled.

"What do you mean 'you think'?" She furrowed her brows and you swallowed.

"Well, I-I thought only HYDRA and our team knew about my brother, Terence. And Bucky and I were dancing then this guy came up to us and asked if he could dance with me, he had a really strong accent and he asked how my brother was doing. Please, I know something bad is going to happen. I just have this feeling." You plead and ramble on, Bucky saw how anxious you were and he wrapped his arm around you pulling you into him as he whispered into your ear.

"It's ok, everything's going to be ok. No one will get hurt. Don't worry." He smiled reassuringly and looked you in the eyes before caressing your cheek.

"Y/N!" Lizzie ran to you and you turned to see her with small tears running down her face.

"What? What's wrong?" She stopped in front of you and breathed heavily.

"Terence, he's gone. I-I don't know where he went. He said he was going to the bathroom but he didn't come back, I asked Sam to go look for him and he came back out saying he wasn't there." She said frantically holding onto your shoulders and you felt tears threaten your eyes.

"No." You gasp silently, knowing the man took Terence.

"Did he tell you his name?" Bucky asked and you looked to him, you thought for a second and your face lit up.

"Yes! Yes, he did. I think it was... Nickolai?" You look at Pepper and she narrows her eyes.

"Why would he tell you his name?" You look to where Tony was standing but he was gone, you look back to Pepper and shrug.

"I don't think Tony would be any help right now though." You frown and Pepper nods.

"If you want to go look around for your brother you can, if you want to go back to The Avengers facility you can also do that. I'll try to keep and eye out, what does he look like?" Pepper asks and you answer.

"My brother or Nickolai?" You were slightly confused.

"Both."

"My brother has black hair and green eyes, he's wearing a full black suit and Nickolai was wearing a grey suit. He had brown hair with, maybe, brown eyes?" You try to remember and she nods. You look at Bucky and you both turn around before squatting to the floor as gun shots rang through the room. You look up to see Nickolai standing on the top floor holding a pistol in the air with two men behind him dressed from head to toe in black and armed with rifles, he smiles devilishly at you and starts speaking.
