Save ME {Bucky x reader}

*16* "Merry Christmas."

"Tony!" You ran after Tony as you saw him leave the kitchen.

"Yeh?" He turned around not taking his eyes off his phone.

"I have the designs for my uniform." You smile excitedly and he looks up.

"Great, can I see?" He puts his phone in his pocket and you hand him the pad of paper that you were tightly holding to your chest.

"So what do you think?" You smile even wider and he nods.

"They're good, I'll get someone to make it for you." He smiles at you and you nod. "I have a meeting to get to."

"Ok bye." You wave to him and he leaves. You walk down to the large indoor swimming pool that was located right next to the gym, you take off your thin white tank top and your towel that was wrapped around your hips and place them on the bench before you walk towards the diving board and take your place. You look up at the massive clock on the wall and wait till the seconds hand passes the 00 mark, you dive into the pool and swim all the way to the end. You had put a temporary spell on your shoulder so it wouldn't get wet and so far it was working, you keep swimming and ignoring the fact that you were becoming tired. You were half way to the end when images started to flash into your head and you saw shadows around you, you frantically shoot up from under the water and scream while splashing the water around you. You slowly calm down and breathe heavily as you stay in one spot just looking into the water around you.

You shake your head from your thoughts and swim to the wall proceeding to get out. You trudge over to the bench and sit down as you grab your towel and wipe your face, you bring it down and rest your elbows on your knees. They were there again, their corpses wouldn't stop haunting you, their spirits were tearing you apart from the inside. You were slowly going mad but you tried not to show it. You hovered your hand over your shoulder and swirled it around as you removed the spell, tears roll down your face as you think of the images that flashed not only a few minutes ago into your head. You ignore your feelings and wipe the tears away with your towel, you wrap it around your hips and grab your shirt as you make your way to the double doors that lead into the gym.

"Hey." Bucky said as he walked into the gym.

"Hi." You say tiredly not moving your eyes from the floor.

"What's wrong?" He asks as he walks to you and you finally look at him.

"I don't know what's happening, Bucky somethings wrong with me." You start to cry and he quickly wraps you in his arms. "They came back and while I was swimming." You cry into his chest and he coos you. "I swear, it was so real I thought I saw their shadows." You sob harder and he kisses the top of your head.

"It's ok, it's ok." He softly says and you look up at him. "Woah, hey it's ok. Are you feeling alright you look really sick." He examines your face and puts his flesh hand on your forehead. "You're boiling hot, doll do you feel ok?" He asks again and you shake your head slightly. Your stomach aches and your head throbbed, it was like this when you woke up, it was cold but you felt hot and couldn't stop sweating.

"Now that I think about it I really don't." You shut your eyes and feel your stomach whirl harder, you gag and stick your hand over your mouth as you run to the gyms bathroom and lean over the toilet letting your stomach empty itself into the bowl of the toilet. You groan as Bucky kneels beside you, you lean your head on your arm and close your eyes.

"You really chose the wrong time to be sick." He chuckles and you shoot your eyes open and glare at him.

"Not. Funny." You gag again and throw up into the bowl.

"Wait... what if?" His eyes widen and you shoot your head towards him.

"No, I am not pregnant." You roll your eyes and he places a cold hand onto your bare skin, you were still wearing your one piece with the towel almost falling off your hips. "It's winter anyways so it's not rare for me to get a cold."
