As Quenlin and Pete arrive to her birthday destination, she realized the lights were off. When Pete closed the door, the lights turned on.
"SURPRISE!" Familar faces jumped up and surprised Quenlin. Quenlin put her hand over her mouth as she was overwhelmed by everyone's actions. "Omg" Quenlin whispers.
"Happy birthday Quenie!" Ronnie said as Mason was hugging her from behind. Zendaya grabbed Quenlin's hand over to the table with the cake. Quen was standing between Zendaya and Tom. Tom hugged her from the side and she smiled.
As everyone singed happy birthday and Quen blowed out the candles, everyone started dancing. Quenlin was dancing with the girls, while tom was admiring from the bar.
Tom saw Pete was drinking way too much but decided to ignore it. He didn't realize but he was looking at Quenlin while she was dancing with Elizabeth.
"Are you going to ask to dance with her or what?" Jacob said as he and Harrison walked over to Tom. "What are you talking about?" Tom said as he took a sip of his beer. "Dude, you are like staring at her 24/7" Harrison said as Jacob nodded.
"Quen has a boyfriend-" Tom said but Jacob cut him off "Pete is obviously drinking way too much. Just go dance with her." Jacob said as Tom looked at him.
Quen stopped dancing to realize Pete was alone. She walked towards him and grabbed his hand. "Lets go dance!"
Quen said as she was beginning to drag him towards the dancefloor, Pete harshly took his hand out of Quenlin's
"I don't want to dance" Pete said as he looked at her and started to walk back to the bar. Quen looked at Pete but then walked back to the center of the dancefloor. Tom saw this happen and decide to take a risk.
He walked towards the dancefloor and tapped Quenlin's shoulder. She looked behind her and instantly smiled. "Hey Tom!"
Quenlin said as Tom smiled. "Wanna dance?" Quenlin said as she grabbed Tom's hands. He nodded and they started dancing.
Tom and Quenlin was swaying each other's arms to the music. They both was smiling at each other and laughing. Zendaya, Ronnie and Mason noticed this and smirked at the lovebirds.
Tom let go one of her hands and twirled her around. He watched as her hair spinned around with her body. Tom instantly fell in love with her laugh, Jacob and Harrison saw this and high fived each other.
As everyone took a break from dancing and ate some food, Pete was still drinking to the point where he was starting to get drunk. Quen saw this and decided to have a talk with him. "Hey, are you okay?" Quen said as she saw Pete stumbled while he was trying to look at her.
"yeaah i'm finnee" Pete slurred as Quen obviously knew he was drunk. "Here take some of this" Quen said as she pick up some water from the table. Pete looked at her and flicked the cup out of her hands.
The water splashed onto Quenlin and she squealed from the coldness that spreaded around her body.
Everyone crowded around the broken couple as they wondered what happened. "Whats going on?" Zendaya said as Laura walked right next to her. "Nothing. Nothing is wrong. Pete accidentally spilled some water on me. I'll be right back."
Tom caught a quick glimpse and noticed Quen's eyes and saw tears slowly coming down. "Let me come with you" Ronnie said as Laura and Zendaya followed.
Mason, Tom and Harrison was interrogating Pete about what he did to Quenlin. Tom was about to punch him but before he could raise it Mason did the honors of doing it. Pete stumbled and fell down.
Quen ran in the bathroom and started to cry on the sink, the girls followed her in the bathroom. Elizabeth rubbed her back as she cried.
Zendaya and Ronnie was wondering what happened. "I was trying to sober up Pete but he slapped the water out of my hands" Quen explained as Laura hugged her.
Zendaya and Elizabeth helped Quen dry off as Ronnie and Laura helped clean her makeup.
Quenlin decided to open her presents when she gets back at her hotel. Ronnie and Zendaya helped Quen pack her presents. When they got to the car, everyone said their goodbyes and final happy birthdays.
