Recently I was watching Inside a Suicide Prevention Center in Puerto Rico | Times Documentary.
It was talking about the mental health crisis in Puerto Rico and how the suicide prevention line is seeing an increase in suicidal calls. These grief counselors are trying to do the best with the situation that they have and it astounds me that even though the grief counselors themselves have lost so much that they are willing to help others.
You see to hope is to live and to give up is almost like dying. I know that some of you say that people commit suicide anywhere and every where, the truth is people shouldn't be killing themselves, even though its a sad fact of life that people give up on living. I just want to say anyone that commits suicide it is a tragedy doesn't matter why or where its an awful thing.
I believe that god or someone in the cosmic universe has blessed me with a good family, good friends, a good home.
Why did I deserve this. So everyday I remind myself that I am blessed.
my author notes will be some form of tangent that goes with the over theme of the story. Its hope.
