Have you heard of the story of the tamed bird?
She wasn't tamed in the beginning; no, she was wild and growing with the lands.
She had no bounds.
She would come and go with the wind.
She had no name and was not defined by anything.
She was just alive and full of life.
She would wake up every morning to the sight of beautiful lands.
She would sing every morning to the sound of the trees and life moving together.
She would fly above the trees and then beyond the clouds.
She would see beyond the horizon; she saw everything, for it was truly magical.
Everything had a purpose, a responsibility to help the earth look forward.
She never liked looking back.
So as the day ended the bird felt a sense of loss, like everything the day has to end.
So, she returned to the place she called home, never really knowing why her soul and mind screamed in pain.
Her home screamed this place you call home will become a prison from which you will never be truly free of.
The poor bird didn't realise that home is not a place in which we live in its the place that allows us to be aware of our purpose and the potential we have.
