The Omega Possession(sequel to Omega Lottery)

     "Hey man. Have you heard of our newest case? Missing teenage male. Kang Daniel. Last scene a couple weeks ago. Parents waited too long to report because apparently he was known for staying with friends for a long time." Jay rolls his eyes and tosses the file on my desk.
Frowning, I go through it. He was the kid that was harassing Hoseok. "Do we have any leads? Could he have maybe run away from home?"
He shakes his head. "I don't think so but it's obviously a possibility. His father is huge in the government. Top dog to several secretive organizations. He could have been taken as a bargaining chip though his parents deny it. Anything is possible, though."
I nod, closing the file. "Is this on me now?"
"Us, you mean. Boss asked me to take the case and ask one other to join me. I want you. You are damn good at your job and have solved every case come in your way." He explains.
"What about BamBam?"
"He can't take it. Apparently he's too close to the victim. His cousin or something. Doesn't want to take it for personal conflicting reasons."
"Alright. Have you started anywhere?"
"Nope. Just got it today. Wanted your take on it first. Don't you brothers know him?" He asks.
"Yes but I don't think they are on good terms. He was harassing one of my family members at school a lot for awhile but left him alone recently. I'm guessing they wouldn't notice if he disappeared or not, though." I shrug.
He nods. "Well...we should start asking around. We need to get this solved quickly. His parents are really pushing for his return. I've told them repeatedly they should have reported it the night he didn't come home. These things become nearly impossible to solve after so long."
"Yeah." I sigh. "This one will be rough. At this point I don't know what we can really do."
"Nothing for it. We have to try."

At home, I'm met by the sight of my mate passed out haphazardly on our bed with little Somi asleep on her tummy right beside his head.
    Smiling, I take off my uniform and change into shorts and a t shirt, kissing Jimin's cheek before picking Somi up and taking her to her baby bed next door with the twins.
     I also notice Taehyung and Jin asleep on the floor in the living room while the Suran plays with her toys. Frowning, I see Hoseok in the kitchen covered in sweat.
"Uh, can you tell me why everyone looks exhausted?"
He smiles, gulping his water. "We just played some...sports after school."
"Oh. I didn't know Jimin liked sports." I admit. Surprised.
"Well why not? He's a normal guy, right? Most guys like some kind of sports."
Hm. Nodding, I head back into the bedroom. He looks dead on his feet. A little sports play did this? Even after all our...Uh, hard training? He shouldn't be this exhausted. A little suspicious but letting it go, I begin stripping him of his clothes, frowning at a few large bruises and cuts on his body.
Running my hands down his newly developed abs, I smile. Certainly a hard and eager little worker. I finish removing his dirty clothes before running the bath, planning to soak in it for awhile with him while he rests.
He barely stirs as I carry him naked into the bathroom and slip into the tub with him, cleaning and rinsing his sweaty body and massaging his shoulders.
I use this quiet time to think over my new case. There is only three possibilities. One, Kang Daniel left home on his own. Two, he was abducted and will be used as blackmail for his very influential father. Three, he was murdered. This long out of view...surely someone had to notice his absence and yet no one reported him missing sooner. Peculiar.
Maybe later I'll run my suspicious by Namjoon and Yoongi to see what they think. I know Yoongi hates the kid after seeing him kiss his mate but this is a serious matter. Surely he can put aside his prejudices long enough to help a kid return home.
Then again, maybe not. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. All I do know is that if this case isn't solved and fast, there will be hell to pay for someone. His parents are very rich and powerful. No way they will let this die down anytime soon.
I can't blame them. Having my own child has taught me a lot about being a parent. That love never goes away. I'd never give up if Somi went missing. I would do anything for those I love.
For everyone's sake, I'm hoping that Kang Daniel just ran off and might show up sometime. The last thing we need is some government official nosing around our family asking questions because the omegas went to school with him.
      "K-Kookie?" Jimin rouses from his sleep, blinking up at me.
     I kiss his lips. "Hey, sweetheart."
    "What are you doing?"
    "You looked really tired so I thought I'd help you bathe and relax you."
     He yawns, snuggling deeper against my chest. "Somi?"
     "I put her in bed with the twins. She's fine, baby."
     He twists in my hold to straddle my lap, wrapping his arms and legs around me. I kiss him deep and slow, making out for a good long while, just gently petting and loving on each other until the water turns cold.
     Smiling, I peck his nose before climbing out and helping dry him off. He runs into the bedroom naked and jumps on the bed as I grab our pajamas, both of us more than a little hungry.
     I tickle him relentlessly while helping him dress much to his chagrin. The light in his eyes makes me very happy as we walk into the kitchen, hands firmly latched together.
     Jin is already up and making dinner. I leave my beautiful mate and fiancé in the kitchen while checking on Somi before going to talk with Yoongi and Namjoon.
     If only everything could always be this easy and perfect.
