"Alex!" I grabbed her shoulder. She was shaking.
"I, I'm fine." She was trembling as she tried to pick up the broken mug. The pieces fell out of her shaking hands leaving small cuts on her palms.
"Let me do it," I told her softly. She nodded.
"I'll g-go clean up my cuts." She stood up and walked out of the living room.
"What was that about?" The blonde boy asked me as I picked up the shards.
"It's nothing. I'll be right back." I left the room with the shards in my hands. I set them on the kitchen counter and walked down the hallway and into the bathroom. Alex was washing her hands.
"Pheonix. How are they here? They should be at school." She asked when I entered.
"I don't know," I told her softly. I looked at her hands, blood leaking out of the cuts. "Let's just focus on fixing you up."
"O-okay." She put her hand in her pocket and pulled out an oaken wand. She tapped her hand and muttered the healing spell, Episkey.
"Better?" I asked her.
"Better." She pocketed her wand and we walked back into the living room.
"Are you okay?" The bushy haired girl asked Alex. Alex said nothing. We sat down.
"She's fine," I told her with a smile. "Now, you said your school is called what?"
"Hogwarts." The red-haired girl said. Alex looked at me. I nodded. We were going to tell them.
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts." I sang. The teen's eyes slowly widened.
"Teach us something please, whether we be old and bald." Alex picked up after me with a small smile. Some of them put their hands near their pockets.
"Or young with scabby knees." Hermione sang quietly. I smiled.
"Y-your...witches?" Draco stuttered. I nodded.
"We lived in Britain until three years ago," Alex said.
"What are your names?" The red-haired boy asked.
"Pheonix Aestas Robin," I said.
"Alex Maria Jones," Alex said. The blonde boy's eyes widened.
"Are you related to Grace Jones? The one from-" He started before Alex cut him off.
"The Massacre of the Carmina Burana. Yes, that's her." Alex scowled. "but, they aren't my family. They haven't been family for a long time."
"Oh," The blonde shifted uncomfortably.
"What are your names?" I asked them.
"Fred Weasley." One twin said.
"George Weasley." The other said.
"Hermione Granger." The bushy haired girl said.
"Luna Lovegood." The blonde girl said.
"Draco Malfoy." The blonde boy said.
"Ginny Weasley." The red-haired girl said.
"Ron Weasley." The tall redhead boy said.
"Harry Potter." The raven-haired boy said quietly. My eyes widened.
"You shouldn't be here. Especially not you!" Alex scolded.
"We didn't come here on purpose!" Ginny insisted. "We don't know how we got here."
"Did someone take you?" I asked them.
"Maybe. All we know is that we were at school, in the middle of a D.A. meeting and then, poof! We were outside of your door." Ron explained.
"D.A?" Alex asked.
"Dumbledore's Army. We learn spells and are against Umbridge, Fudge and the rest of the Ministry." Hermione explained.
"What did the Ministry do?" I asked her.
"They called me a liar and said Voldemort isn't back. They made me seem like I was insane." Harry explained angerly. Some of them flinched when he said the name.
"He's back?" I whispered. Harry nodded.
"This isn't good..." Alex said.
"I know. But what do we do?" I asked her.
"I don't know. They need to get back to Hogwarts." Alex said frantically.
"It's okay Alex, your okay. Calm down." I grabbed her hands. Things like this worked her up.
"I'm okay, I'm okay." She whispered to herself.
"Better?" I asked her.
"Better." She squeezed my hand before turning to face the teens. "You should probably stay here for now until we figure out what to do."
"I'll show them the guest rooms." I kissed her on the forehead and stood up. "Follow me please."
They all stood and followed me down the hallway. I took them upstairs onto a landing. I pointed down two hallways on each side of me.
"Boys on the left, girls on the right," I said. "Boys, I'll set the girls up first. Just wait here for now."
They nodded. I started walking down the right hallway with the girls.
"Luna. You can have the first room." I opened the first door into a guest room I called "The Star Room." It had a four-poster bed and a ceiling painted as the night sky. It had a navy blue lounge couch and a small book nook area. It was inspired by the Ravenclaw common room.
"Thank you." Luna smiled and entered the room. I left the doorway and walked to the second door.
"Hermione, you can have this one." I opened the door to reveal a guest room I called "The Cabin Room." It was inspired by a cabin in the mountains and had carved wooden furniture and houseplant scattered throughout. Strings of lights adorned the ceiling.
"Thank you, miss," Hermione said politely as she entered the room. I left and walked down to the room across from it.
"Ginny, you can stay in here." I opened the door to reveal a modern styled guest room. It was designed to look like my old apartment back in London.
"Thank you. Um, I do have one question." Ginny said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Where's the loo?" She asked. I laughed.
"Last door on the hallway." We left the room. I walked over to the boys.
"If you'll follow me, I'll show you to your rooms now." I led them down the other hallway. I opened the first door to reveal a guest room with two twin beds and a small fireplace.
"For us?" The twins asked. I nodded.
"How'd you know?" I joked. They thanked me and entered. I left and walked to the next door.
"Ron, that'll be your room." I opened the door to a guest room with a metallic theme.
"Thank you." Ron entered and I walked to the door across the hallway.
"Harry, your room." I opened a door to a room inspired by the Gryffindor common room. It had scarlet bedsheets and a cosy feel about it.
"Thanks." Harry entered and I led Draco to the last room in the hallway.
"Draco, your room." I opened the door to a room that was inspired by the Slytherin common room. It had dark green and black bedsheet and furniture carved from dark wood.
"Thanks." He said.
"No problem." I smiled and started to leave.
"Wait!" Draco said. I turned around.
"Yes?" I asked him.
"Are you and Alex a couple?" He asked. I smiled.
"Yes, we are. Why?" His eyes darted around.
"N-no reason." He smiled. I smiled back and walked back downstairs, just in time for the doorbell to ring.
