"I'll get it!" I called Alex as I walked over to the front door. I pulled it open to reveal two men in suits standing outside.
"Hello. Is are you Ms.Pheonix Robin?" The one with long brown hair asked.
"Yes. Who's asking?" I fingered the pitcher.
"Agent Angus and my partner Agent Young." The blonde one said. They held up FBI badges. I nodded.
"Come in then." I opened the door wider and watched as the enter. I shut the door and led them down the hallway, making sure they passed through the traps. They did. I led them into the living room.
"Please, take a seat," I told them. They sat on the couch. "Can I get you anything?"
"No thanks." The blonde one said.
"Pheonix?" Alex said as she entered with another mug of tea.
"Just some agents. Probably here about, about my aunt's death." I said. She nodded and sat down beside me. "Is that right?"
"Yes, ma'am." The brown hair one asked.
"Just call me Pheonix." I hated the formalities.
"Wait, didn't you star in Falling Through?" The blonde asked Alex.
"Yes, I did." She smiled.
"I love that movie." He said with a glare from his partner. "What?"
"Um, Pheonix, we're just going to ask you some questions about the death of Ms.Skylar Robin. She was you aunt correct?" The brown one said. I nodded. Alex grabbed my hand reassuringly.
"Can you tell us anything about her death?" The blonde said. "Anything unusual that occurred before her death?"
"No," I said.
"We're you there when it happened?" He asked.
"No. I found her body a couple hours after." I choked back tears. Alex put her arm around my shoulder.
"Did you notice anything when you arrived? A cold chill or the smell of sulfur? Anything like that?" The brown haired one asked. I looked up at him. Alex did too.
"Who are you?" I asked them. "Agents don't casually ask about sulfur and cold spots."
"I can assure you, ma'am, we are-" The blonde started. Alex stood up.
"Don't give me that crap! Who are you?" She asked them, pulling out a pistol.
"Take it, easy Miss! Just calm down." The brown-haired one said, standing up.
"Don't lie to me! Who are you?" Alex asked again. I stood.
"Are you a demon? Shapeshifters? Hunters?" I asked them. They're brows furrowed.
"Wait, you know about demons and shapeshifters?" The blonde said. I nodded.
"Are you one of them?" Alex asked.
"No! We're just hunters." The brown-haired one said. Alex didn't lower her pistol.
"They passed the traps, Alex," I told her, gently placing a hand on her arm holding the pistol. She slowly lowered it.
"Thank you." The blonde said.
"Don't thank her yet!" Alex said coldly.
"Are you two hunters?" The brown haired one asked.
"No. We just have experience in the supernatural area." I told him. "What are your names?"
"I'm Sam Winchester. That's my brother, Dean." Sam said.
"Nice to meet you," I said politely.
"Um, Pheonix?" A voice said from the entrance to the hallway. I looked over to see Darco standing there with his eyes wide. Alex cussed and pocketed her gun.
"Yes, Draco?" I walked over to him.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"Nothing. Just some cops came to ask Me about my aunt." I said. He looked at Alex.
"What was she doing? Why was she pointing that at him?" Draco asked, his eyes showed fear.
"Um..." I looked at Alex for help. She shrugged.
"It was just a misunderstanding," Dean said to Draco.
"What did you need Draco?" I asked him.
"I came down because I finished putting my stuff away. I heard raised voices and decided to see what was going on." He said.
"Your stuff?" I asked him.
"School bag." He explained.
"Oh. Right. Well, it's okay. Nothing is going on down here. Why don't you go get yourself something to eat for lunch. Alex can make you a sandwich if you want." I said. He nodded. Alex stood up and they went into the kitchen. I walked back over to the brothers and sat back down.
"Who's he?" Dean asked.
"Draco Malfoy. It's a long story." I said nonchalantly. They nodded.
"So, what was unusual about your aunt's scene of death?" Sam asked.
"Sulfur. Demon. I haven't taken care of it and it hasn't done anything since. I have no idea who it is." I explained, some tear silently escaping my eyes. "I also wasn't fit to go demon hunting. I still need to recover. She was my only family..."
"I understand," Sam said.
"Are you two here to take care of it?" I asked them.
"Yes. We got here yesterday." Dean said.
"Good," I said, wiping tears off my face. "Let me know if you need anything."
I jotted down my number on a piece of paper and handed it to them.
"If you need anything." I smiled and led them to the door.
"Thanks, Pheonix," Sam said.
"No problem." I smiled and watched as they got into a black car and drove away. I shut the door and walked over to the kitchen. Alex was by the stove and Draco sat on a high chair at the counter. Alex turned as I entered.
"Are they gone?" She asked.
"Yeah. They're gonna get rid of it." I smiled at her. She smiled back before returning her focus to the stove. I looked at the skillet. Grilled cheese.
"Want one?" Alex asked, sensing me looking at the hot sandwich.
"You know me so well." I kissed her on the cheek and walked over to the counter facing Draco.
"So, what did you mean earlier?" I asked him.
"Um, it's nothing. Really." He said looking around the room.
"You can talk to me Draco," I said. "I bet you can't do that with most people."
"How did you-" He started.
"I've seen that look far too many times," I told him. "What's bothering you?"
"It's just, I like someone." He said. "And I should be happy but, but I can't. I can't like him."
"Him you say?" I said smiling.
"Um, yeah." He looked down. "I'm gay."
