"Draco," I said. His head was still bowed. I could see tears running down his cheeks. "Draco, look at me."
He looked up. Tears ran down his cheeks. He sniffled. I walked around the counter and walked up beside this seat. I wrapped him in a huge hug. He sobbed into my shoulder.
"Draco, what's wrong?' I said softly.
"I can't love him. I can't love any him. My parents, they don't understand. They can't ever find out or, or-" He broke down.
"Draco, Draco. She. It's okay. It's okay Draco." I said softly. "Your parents can't hurt you here. It's okay."
"Draco. It'll be okay." Alex said from around the counter. Draco let go and turned to face her as she set down a plate of grilled cheese on the counter.
"Eat up Draco." I ruffled his hair. He picked up half of a sandwich and started to eat. "I'm going to check on the others."
"Okay. Love you." Alex said as she turned back to the stove.
"Love you too," I said before leaving the kitchen and walking upstairs. I walked over to the girl's hallway.
"Girls!" I said. The three girls walked out of their room and into the hallway.
"Yes?" Ginny asked.
"Lunch." Then I noticed their clothes. They were still in their uniforms, minus the cloaks. "And you might want to change into muggle clothes."
"We didn't bring any..." Hermione said.
"Check your closets. All organized by size, colour and type. Take what you need." I winked before leaving and going to the boy's area.
"Boy! Lunchtime! Get changed into Muggle clothes than come down to eat!" I called down the hall. I heard a few okay's and thank you's. Then I walked back downstairs and into the kitchen. Alex handed me a plate.
"Thanks, Alex." I kissed her on the cheek before sitting down beside Draco. He was on the second half of his sandwich now.
"They're all coming down. You might want to dry your eyes." I gave him a tissue.
"Thanks." He set down his sandwich and wiped his eyes. Just in time, as Harry walked in. He was wearing jeans and a Gryffindor sweatshirt. His hair was tostled and I could now see a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He sat down on the other side of me.
"Grilled cheese Harry?" Alex asked him.
"Yes please." He said politely.
"Okie Dokie!" Alex started grilling another sandwich. I looked over at Draco. His face was slightly pink and he avoided eye contact with Harry, occasionally glancing at him through the corner of his eye. I raise an eyebrow and nudged Draco. He looked at me. I jerked my head ever since slightly at Harry. He gave me a quick nod and looked down at his sandwich, blushing slightly.
The others slowly trickled downstairs. They were now wearing muggle clothing.
"Thanks, Alex." They said as they received their sandwiches.
"No problem. Put your dishes in the sink when you finish." Alex got a plate and put a huge piece of pie on it. I rolled my eyes.
"Really? Pie?" I asked her.
"And?" She asked.
"That's your second piece today," I told her. I stood up and put my dishes in the sink.
"So?" She shrugged. I rolled my eyes.
"You're impossible," I told her. She shrugged and walked into the living room to eat the pie, and probably watch TV. The kids started finishing up the food and put their dishes in the sink.
"You can do whatever. Just don't break anything." I told them. The twins grinned.
"Right," Fred said.
"Wouldn't dream of it." George grinned. I rolled my eyes as they disappeared down the hall.
"Is there a library?" Hermione asked politely. I pointed to a door to the left of the kitchen.
"Through the door is a hallway. The third door to the left." I said. She nodded and disappeared through the door, Luna close behind her.
"Thanks for the food Pheonix," Ginny said before disappearing out the back door to the garden. Ron walked into the living room. A loud amount of cussing erupted as Alex tried to change the channel to something that was at most PG13. I rolled my eyes.
"She probably had just put Insane Surgeons: The Deadly Doctors Return on," I said. Harry and Draco both laughed. They locked eyes for a second, then looked away blushing. I raised an eyebrow at Draco. He blushed deeper.
"Can you two help with the dishes? I have to do some laundry." I asked them. They nodded and started washing the dishes. I walked down the library hallway and walked into the first door to the left. I pulled out my wand and started the laundry.
.....
The laundry only took ten minutes. I picked up the basket full of clean laundry and took it into mead Alex's closet. I waved my wand and the laundry put itself away. I picked up the basket and returned it to the laundry room. I walked upstairs and walked to the boy's hallway. I opened the door to Draco's room and set five sickles on his pillow with a note saying "Thanks." I walked out and did the same thing in Harry's room. Then I walked back downstairs and back into the kitchen.
"Are you two done?" I asked them as I entered. They turned around from the sink.
"Almost," Draco said. Harry nodded.
"Thanks again, boys. It means a lot to me." I told them.
"No problem Ms.Pheonix," Harry said.
"Just call me Pheonix." I smiled at his politeness.
"Okay." He resumed cleaning the dishes. It took five more minutes before they finished.
"Go have fun now," I told them with a smile. Harry nodded and started walking towards the back door. It was yanked open when he touched the handle. Ginny walked inside.
"You didn't mention that you had a pool." She said to me. I smiled.
"I didn't? Well, it would be a shame if it just sat there unused..." I said. "I'll get the others. Swimsuits are in the closets."
