Gray's POV
"It's already 8 o'clock! We really need to do something else honestly!"
"I actually really like sitting here talking."
"You know... I'm really glad that I went with my gut feeling when I came to you."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that from the moment I saw you I knew that I needed to get to know you, I knew that if I was going to have to do something or I would never have heard the end of it from Sam. Of course now I don't really have that problem, but I would like to think that she is watching over me right now saying good job."
"Speaking of Sam, whens the funeral? If you don't mind me asking."
"It's fine, and it's tomorrow morning at 10:30... and to tell you the truth I'm terrified. I need to speak at it and I don't exactly know if I will be able to do so."
"If only you had someone that could be there for you like a boyfriend."
"I don't have a boyfriend. And speaking of having someone there for me... I do have an idea..."
"And what would that idea be Miss.Gray?"
"Would you maybe come with me? I know you didn't know Sam. And I know that we only really met today, but please? I feel relaxed and comfortable with you around."
"Are you sure you want that?"
"Yes."
"Then..."

Still Gray's POV
The short walk to the café was silent, but it was a comfortable silence, one that I enjoy a lot. We walked close together while also staying far enough apart. Our hands would brush once in a while and every time I would feel a blush come to my cheeks, so I would turn my head so that he couldn't see my face. I could feel his eyes on me yet I still didn't dare look, as it just made me blush more.
When we did get to the café and walked in the place was empty, not a soul was in the small building except for the petite girl sitting behind the counter, she was cute, she had long blonde hair with black ends it was pulled into a loose ponytail, large rimmed glasses covered her face almost hiding her freckles that adorned her face, she looked so lost in the book that she was reading that she didn't hear the bell from the door when it opened, or she did but didn't bother to look up. Though when we got in front of the counter she did reluctantly look up. She placed her book down, stood up and grabbed a notepad and pen.
"How can I help you?"
"I'll get a coffee with a shot of espresso."
"And I'll get a dragon fruit devotion herbal tea." Luke looked up at me with a very weird look I just shrugged as he handed her the money that the young girl told him was the price.
Then he linked his arm with mine and we headed over to a booth in the corner. The café was small and homey. There were lit candles on every table and at every booth. There were warm fairy lights strewn all over the ceiling, this will sound very embarrassing and dorky, but this place was very Tumblr like. We stayed quiet until our drinks came then we decided that we should start a conversation before it became weird.
"You know its funny..."
"What is?"
He paused before he finally continued his sentence, "Its funny how when you walked into the hospital I thought you were absolutely beautiful."
"I was covered in blood, and looking a mess."
"Even though everyone else was probably staring at you thinking, what a crazy person I was sitting there thinking, wow she is stunning, I must get to know her."
"Are you just saying that because I already told you something similar?"
"No I actually wanted to get to know you, I thought you were beautiful. And I know that this makes it sound like I was purely attracted to you by looks and having a physical attraction, but in reality I just felt that there was something that brought us both there at that time."
"Maybe, who knows. But I do know that we both felt a connection so I would like to see where this leads, are you in?"
"Yes, I'm definitely in."
"Okay, how about we do it this way. I will ask 5 questions then you can answer then, then you ask me 5 questions and I will answer them. Then it will go on till we finally get tired of talking to each other."
"Okay, the you can go first."
"Okay, well lets go, Birthday? Favorite color? Favorite band? Someplace you'd love to travel to? And Favorite Movie?"
"Birthday is July 16th, 1996. Favorite color is Blue. I have many favorite bands but I really, really love Green Day. I'd love to travel to Canada or New Zealand. And my favorite movie is either Anchor Man or Mean Girls. Your Questions are Birthday? Singer you hate the most? Favorite Drink? And biggest fear? And Favorite movie?"
"Birthday is ironically July 17th, 1996, I absolutely hate Taylor Swift. I love peach juice. My biggest fear is a tie between heights and snakes. And my favorite movies are Remember the Titans, Shawshank Redemption, the Harry Potter series and the fault in our stars."
"I said movie..."
"And I said movies, I can't choose, and I never have been able too."
"Wait, you said your birthday was July 17th 1996?"
"Yeah..."
"You're a day younger than me?"
"I guess so."
2 Hours Later
"Are you sure you want that?"
"Yes."
"Then..."
"Okay, I will be there for you, I think it will help a lot to have someone like me there."
A/n I'm writing this authors note on my iPad because I had forgotten to write this before but most of the information about Gray is the information about me, there's just a few tweaks. Really hope you love this book so far because I do!!!! Anyways is it weird that I already have the climax written and the finale chapter written but nothing else really? But oh well! Next chapter should be up within the next couple of days!
