Without You

Chapter five

"Taehyung!" Jimin and Jin yell out. They run towards him while hugging him tightly.

"Did you guys miss me?" He answers with a deep voice but in a cute way.

"No we didn't." Jimin lies and Taehyung pinches Jimin's cheeks.

"Aigo~ I guess I'm leaving then." Taehyung pouts. Jimin immediately grabs onto Taehyung, not letting him leave.

"I'm joking!"

I was just sitting there like watching a tv show until their attention turned towards me. "You must be the new student, Kim Erin Ayaka."

"Yes I am, nice to meet you." I smile and he smiles back at me.

"Call me Taehyung. Can I call you Erin?" He asks and I nod.

"How exactly did you get into this situation?" Jungkook looks at me with an, 'you're so stupid' expression.

"There were bullies..." I sighed. They nodded and there was an awkward silence between us.

"Is there anything I can help with?" Taehyung looks at me with puppy eyes and I gulp, not knowing how to react.

"You're scaring her." Jungkook smacks Taehyung's head.

"Oops, I'm sorry." He scratches his head and we all laugh.

It's already been a year since I have been at this school. Now, I am heading to grade 11. A lot of has happened this year.

Somehow... I fell in love with Jungkook, became friends with Yi-Jin and completely changed into another person.

Now, I am love crazy. Physically and mentally. I fell in love with Jungkook ever since the day he gave me his umbrella. I didn't realize it was love at first, but I started to find myself looking at him often and writing his name on my work.

The relationship between me and my brother have been closer. Sung-Yun was pregnant with my brothers baby.

Obviously, no one knows about this otherwise, fans are going to start crying and complaining which would ruin his career. Because she was pregnant, she moved in with us.

My mom hasn't called me or anything. I honestly wasn't expecting anything. That's how my mom is. He never even gave a phone call to Namjoon-Oppa either.

"Namjoon-Oppa, I'm going out with Yi-Jin." I whisper to him because Sung-Yun was asleep. Namjoon nods and I head out the door.

     "Yi-Jin!" I smile as I arrive at the park.

     "Ah! Erin!" She smiles back and hugs me tightly.

     "How has your summer break been?" I ask and she gives me a thumbs up.

     "What about your brother and her girlfriend?"

     "Aish, they're good. They're just very tired though." I sigh. We start strolling through the park while chatting with each other.

     "Are you still thinking about Jungkook?" She asks bluntly.

     "Shh!" I immediately look around to see if anywhere had heard us. Luckily, there was no one around us.

     "Aigo~ just confess to him already."

     "If it was that easy, then I would have done it in the first place!" I sigh and she rolls her eyes.

     "Have you seen him?"

     "Nope. What about you? Is Jimin still clinging onto you?" I smirk and she rolls her eyes again.

     "Ugh. Let's not talk about that! Ever since I started hanging out with you and Jimin, a lot has changed." She sighs and I nod in agreement.

     "Isn't that Jungkook?" She points at a tall figure with broad shoulders.

     "No, that's Jin!" I laugh.

     "Jin-Oppa!" I run up to him. Yi-Jin runs after me and we both stop in front of him.

     "Oh! Yi-Jin and Erin! What are you guys doing here?" He smiles.

     "We just decided to hang out. What about you?" I ask.

     "I'm here with the boys actually..." he smiles nervously. Yi-Jin immediately tenses. Suddenly, a mochi jumps right on her.

     "Jimin! Get off!" She groans as she tries to escape from him.

     Me and Jin start laughing. Jungkook and Taehyung appears and they look to Jimin and Yi-Jin who are rolling around on the floor.

     "What happened?" Taehyung asks and I shrug. Jungkook spaces out and I start catching myself looking at him again.

     Why is he so perfect? He's so cute~

     "What are you looking at?" He glares at me. I gulp and immediately look somewhere else.

     "Erin~" Taehyung smiles at me. I smile back at him and he hugs me tightly which was normal for me.

     Taehyung loved hugging people, but what I didn't realize was that Taehyung hugged me a lot more. I could hear Jungkook scoff a little, but I ignore it and hug Taehyung back.

     We decide to head around the park as a group. It was great until Ha-Eun appeared. "Jungkookie!" She yelled and hugged him tightly.

     "Oh, Ha-Eun, why are you here?" He blushes. I roll my eyes as they start flirting with each other. Jin was chatting with Taehyung while Jimin and Yi-Jin were fighting at the back.

     I stood there, not knowing what to do. I watched as Jungkook started to smile. He only smiles when he sees Ha-Eun. He's never once smiled at me. I sigh to myself.

     I start heading away from the group without them noticing and sit at the nearest bench which was out of sight for the group to see where I was.

     I look up the sky and start to daydream. I wish I was as pretty as Ha-Eun. She knows how to make Jungkook smile while I can't even do anything.

     Just then, a pair of hands cover my eyes. "Guess who~?"

     "Taehyung..." I giggle softly and he removes his hand.

     "Are you okay?" He looks at me with a worried expression.

     I nod my head. "Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it."

     "Doesn't seem like it." He says in a sudden serious tone and starts tickling me.

     "Ahahahaha! Taehyung! Stop! Please!" I try to run away from him, but he stops me and continues tickling me.

     The group soon finds us because of my loud screams of help. "What are you doing?" Yi-Jin looks at me dumbfounded as me and Taehyung pant.

     "H-he started it." I say between my breaths.

     "Because y-you were sad." He pouts.
