Jeremy's POV:
We were on the way back to my place and I was ordering pizza for me and Michael, a family sized Hawaiian (because we were both growing bois) which was Michael's favorite, I hated pineapple on pizza but it was his favorite and because he was sad and I was being an awesome best friend, I ordered one anyway, I just had to deal with it and peal of the pineapple.
I was so pissed off at everyone at that party, especially Rich and Jake, it's spin the bottle for flips sake! You don't get to choose who you're going to kiss! If you could though I'd choose Christine over Brooke any day! Anyway, I hated seeing Mikey upset and I hadn't seen him this sad in years, and all for a stupid kiss between two boys?! Michael's been bullied with gay slurs before and it really upset him. Bless he's heart, I don't even think he knew that he was gay yet. I'd been best friends with him for 12 years! You notice things when you spend almost every hour of every day together! Yes, I was 100% sure, he'd never had a girlfriend and he didn't even talk about girls! Of course I didn't judge him or anything, I couldn't care less about my best friends sexuality, he was still Michael.
There was something I heard at the party though.. I just couldn't get it out of my head.. I thought I heard a lisp, nobody at our school had a lisp so it didn't make any sense at all. I only knew one person who had a lisp and that was Richard Gordon. Richard was Michael and I's good friend back in freshman year but he moved that summer without even saying goodbye. He was a loser just like us, he had freckles, big glasses, braces, and he was incredibly short (let's not forget the lisp here), I knew Michael had kind of a thing for him, and don't get me wrong it was adorable, but it was weird because when I just hung out with Michael he would talk about him a lot sometimes and he always got kinda shy and blushy whenever he was around him.
"Thit" I kept replaying that word in my head as if it would give me the answer on how to solve world hunger, but it just didn't make any sense to me, who was that? Did they go to our school? Was it just a prank? Then it suddenly snapped-
