Michael's POV

It's finally friday

I loved Fridays, they were the best.

Friday was the day I had chosen play rehearsal. I hadn't chosen play rehearsal just to be Jer's wingman no I actually really liked acting.

The last bell rang, signalling that the school day was over and it was time for rehersal. I overheard a bunch of people Jake that they were excited for tonight and everything. Tonight was Halloween and Jake's yearly Halloween parties were legendary, everyone was excited. I didn't have a single thought about going and I just laughed at the thought of me ending up alone in a bathroom. I felt someone lay their arm around me and I tensed. I realised that it was only Jeremy and I relaxed again.

"Hey dude!" he said happily.

"Sup Jer?" I asked.

"Not much really, I'm just excited for rehearsal." he said and laughed a bit.

"Yeah me too." I said and then we walked to the classroom.

~~

It was actually a lot more fun than I had expected. Jeremy had gone back to his usual not talking, hunched over and anxious self as soon as he saw Christine, which was fine by me, I was used to it after 12 years of friendship.

He was somehow more hunched over when Christine was in the room if that was even possible. He was gonna end up looking like the goddamn Hunchback of Noter Dame if he didn't fix his posture.

We were informed that we were to preform Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare and of course, Christine was playing Juliet. I had no idea that Mr. Reyes was a drama teacher as well.

Jeremy suddenly appeared beside me, scaring me again (I'm easily scared leave me alone.).

"Hey Michael... Do you think we could go to Jake's party tonight?" he asked, fidgeting a bit with his hands like he normally did.

"What? No! Absolutely not! Not happening! I'm not going to some stupid high-school party to be surrounded by a bunch of drunk teenagers, making out!" I responded perhaps a little too harsh.

"Pleeaasseeee? Christine is going! I promise it's gonna be fun!" he pleaded. I almost felt a little bad for him.

"No Jer! Can't we just order a pizza and play video games?" I felt myself starting to give in a little. Goddammit he was my weakest spot.

"I'll buy you Crystal Pepsi." He said, more confident.

God fucking dammit, this boy I swear...

"Count me in." I said without hesitation.

"Yes!" he said and hugged me.

We both laughed and went to his place to get ready for the party.

I'm gonna whoop your ass if this isn't fun Jer.
