It had been a slow few weeks, i was out doing all sorts of shit the past few days getting ready for a new shipment coming in. I had to get the last shipments money sorted before i could start moving the new one. I only had 5 dealers left to collect from, 3 of them were my brothers group.

I was with Theif, Freedo, Oli and Lotti. They came round to help me out. People think were just gang bangers, they dont know how much shit we gotta deal with.

"Yo, you do this at the end of every month, chill out Sanita" Lotti said chuckling as he smoked a joint.

"Shut the fuck up and help me count this money asshole" i said punching his arm and taking the joint from him.

"Why you always hitting me ma" he asked. I smiled.

"You got a punchable look about you" i said laughing to muself as i counted the next lot of cash. As i did Markus came in with another bag of money, Danny closely behind him.

Hes been living here for about a week now since his mom refuses to let him in the house.

"Sup Blood" Markus dabbing up everyone in the room, Danny did the same.

Markus handed me the bag and i looked at it. "es un poco de luz" i said.

He lookes at Danny who scrached his head.

"Yo, i aint even gotta count it to know theres money missing, where is it" i said looking at both of them.

"I got caught a'ite" Danny said quietly. Theif looked at him.

"What?" Oli said angrily.

"He got jumped last night. He lost like 3gs" Markus said.

"The fuck you mean 3 bandz man" Freedo said standing up.

"Look imma get the money. Im sorry" Danny said looking at me.

"Damn right you are nigga, that shit aint taken lightly around here. Who jumped you" i asked standing up.

"I dont know, it was dark a'ite, i was sloppy, ill get the cash before the end of the day" He said still looking at me.

"How? You broke as fuck!" I shouted.

"I can put the cash in till he earns it back hermana" Markus said.

"This ain't alright Markus, we cant go around gettig jumped. Wasn't you strapped?" I asked Danny.

"I didnt have it with me, i had the cash coming home from my girls crib a'ite, it wont happen again" he said quickly.

"Damn right it wont. We cant be fucking around like that, the boss man ain't gonna be happy" Thief said sighing. Markus walked into his room and came back with a box handing me cash.

"Thats his cut. We'll handle it ok." Markus said. I looked at him.

"esto no será olvidado" i said to him taking the money.

"No espero que sea" Danial said. I looked at him and shook my head.

"We got shit to do" i said to them. They nodded and walked out the room.

It was late. I finaly got everything done. I was coming back from Lotties crib and i saw Danial on a stoop with some girl. I would normally just walk by but for some reaon i ducked and listened to what they was saying.

"Look im gonna fix it alright, i got you Sara" he said.

"Daniel i dont give a single shit about what you're doing out there but i aint raising this kid alone." She told him.

"You're not gonna be bebita" he said back to her. My heart raced as he said that. I dont know why but i was kinda sad.

"Dont call me that, i told you, it aint like that no more Estúpido" i heard someone stand up. "Just make sure you don't die and you're there for our child Daniel." She said. It was quiet for a second then i heard a door close and Danny sigh.

I took a deep breath and came out from my spot. He didnt notice me and i was praying that i could walk right by him and he wouldn't notice me but he looked up and saw me walking.

"Sanita?" He asked as i walked by. I cursed myself as i turned and looked at him. He stood up and walked over to me.

"Oh, hay Danny" i said flashing a fake smile and turning to head home. This boy ran up to me and walked beside me.

"You heading home?" He asked. I nodded and sighed.

"Am i annoying you or suhn?" He asked.

Yes you are.

"No man, im just tired is all" i said.

"Shit, same" he said smiling. I never noticed he had a tooth missing before. He actually had nice teeth.

"Where was you?" I asked.

"My baby mamas house. She due in like 2 months, im scared as shit to be a dad" he said to me. I raised an eyebrow.

"Why ain't you crashing at her place?" I asked.

"We ain't together, she said its probably best i didn't" he told me. I nodded.

We walked in silence as we made out way through the streets, it was quiet and awkward. Only sounds are the cars on the roads and our footsteps.

"So... um..." as Danny went to speak two shots rang through the air. I felt my whole body fall to the floor. It took me a second to registar what had happened.

I opened my eyes and saw Danny on top of me. I heard shouting coming up the block, danny grabbed my hand and pulled me into an allyway, my heart was racing as we ran. I dont know what it was racing for. The fact danny had my hand or the fact we were just shot at.

"Yo, THIS WAY" I heard someone shout behind me.

"Danny" i said panicking.

"I know just keep running" he said as we did. Another shot went of and Danial pulled me over a fence.

"Shit keep low" he said to me as we turned a corner and into another ally. He pushed me against a wall behind a bin with his hand over my mouth.

"Shhh" he said. I nodded. I heard voices and another shot. Then footsteps run by us.

"FUCK WE LOST EM" someone shouted. My heart was beating so fast and my head was light as fuck. The voice was right beside up. "C'mon lets bounce" the voice said.

"We'll get him next time" another voice said. My eyes widened and i looked at Danny. We heard the footsteps walk away and Danny dropped his hand and leaned his head on the wall. His whole body was pressed against me. It wasnt till i stopped breathing as hard i saw his shoulder.

"Shit Daniel you been hit" i whispered.

"I know ma" he said still breathing hard.

"Are you ok?" I aksed him. He nodded.

"Imma be a'ite" he said standing straight. He put his hand on my face and sighed.

"I cut your eyebrown when i dived on you" he said wiping the blood away. I disnt even notice, the only thing i was focused on was Danny's hands on my face.

"Im ok" i said looking up at him. Thats how i knew i was small, because even his short ass was tall to me.

"let's get you home hermosa" he said taking my hand again.

I took it and walked with him. I was watching as his white t shirt got more bloody.

"I can clean that up for you when we get back" i said.

"Id appreciate it ma" he said as we walked. He flashed me a smile and my heart jumped a little at the it. I shook my hear realising what i just did. Was i catching feelings for this nigga?
