58-THE BEST PERSON EVER Adele's POV
"Yeah, there are no classes today" I tell her, closing my wardrobe.
"Why not? It's Monday" my mum says over the phone
"Cause we had this dinner party yesterday so we had today off from classes " I explain
"Oh really? How was it? The dinner" she asks.
"It was...okay. the food was nice" I tell her and I can tell she's smiling
"Good. Let me call you later okay? I need to fold up all of these clothes " she says
"Alright mum. Bye " I say
"Bye baby" she says and hangs up.
I walk over to my bed and lay down on it, opening the Facenet app on my phone and see unread messages from Makena so I click on it.
MakenaRyeRie Hey b. Wat do you want to eat??
MakenaRyeRie I'm in the cafe, I'll get you something
Me I'm not sure. Get anything
I send and drop my phone on the bed. Only a second later, I hear a beep on my phone and I pick it up, opening Makena's message .
MakenaRyeRie Anything?
MakenaRyeRie You sure you don't want anything in particular?
I let out a sigh and sleep on my side as I think about what I want to eat.
Me You know what? Just get me whatever you're getting
MakenaRyeRie Alright babe. Be back soon

I go to my home screen and click the post it app on my phone. I see posts from a few of my friends including Makena and Maren.
I click on Makena's post and see a picture of her that she had posted some hours ago.

It was the picture I'd taken of her in the morning after she just finished telling me about how happy she was that there were no classes. It was almost like she was blushing at that fact.
I tap on the star below the picture and go out of her post, tapping on Maren's. There were posts from yesterday, hours before the dinner.

I was feeling her braids as much as she was feeling them. They looked so good on her and made her even prettier.
I tap on the star below both her pictures and just then the door opens and Makena walks in carrying two nylon bags. I drop down my phone and sit up on the bed.
"I brought food" she says and I smile as she walks towards me and then plop down on my bed, beside me.
I collect a nylon from her and bring out the two take away packs from inside. I set them down on the bed and open one of them to see fried battered fish and my mouth immediately waters.
I open the second one hurriedly and meet hot potato chips.
"Is that okay? " she asks and I look up at her
"Okay? This is more than okay. You're the best,Kena" I say pulling her into a quick hug
"Duhhh" she says and we both start laughing
"I'm happy I met you" I tell her honestly and she smiles
"Aww...same here babe" she says and I smile at her. She really was the best person ever.
"Come on, let's eat" she says and I nod as we start digging into our food. *$*$*$*$*$*$*$*$*$*$
I'm hungry...
