Chapter 2. Figure it out

Recap:

Just when I think he's about to go further there is a loud knock on the door.

"Bakugo? It's me Iida, we wanted to know if you have seen Midoryia? There was a villain attack, and he went to go find you," Kacchan removed himself from me and opened the door,
"He's right here."

"Iida, help! Kacchan is acting not normal, he was hit during the villain attack," I lunged past Kacchan and hid behind Iida, peering at Kacchan to see if he'd go after me with another person around.
"How is he acting strangely and how was he hit," Iida quickly got into a defensive stance towards Kacchan.
"Izuchan where are you going? Don't leave," Kacchan pushed Iida aside and bear hugged me so tight it was hard to breathe.
"Kacchan.. I can't... breathe," I desperately hit his arm trying to get him to let go, he loosened his hold a little bit but did not release me.
"This is... strange," Iida watched Kacchan with interest before waving us over, "We will have to assume this is from the villain's quirk for now, let's go to the school to get him analyzed, " Iida began walking but I couldn't follow with Kacchan holding me.
"Kacchan, we have to go with Iida," I tugged at his arm to try and move him.
"But Izuchaaaan, I just wanna cuddle with youuuu," he buried his face in my neck and I turned even redder. If there was an achievement for being the reddest faced person I would have that achievement.
"Kacchan we have to go."
"No, only cuddles."
"....If we go with Iida we can cuddle when we get back, okay?" My voice squeaked as I suggested this but it was the only thing I could think if to get him to go willingly.
He looked deep in thought before he nodded, "Okay, but we cuddle in your room," he lifted his head from my neck and took my hand.
"Um, okay!?" I tried to think of a way where nothing would happen but cuddling but from Kacchan's earlier behavior I only got more flustered.

We began to follow Iida to the school, Kacchan would not let go of my hand, and as we walked through the dorm everyone was staring. Everyone. I avoided their gazes because it was kinda embarrassing. I hoped this quirk wouldn't last for long.

At the school Iida and I were told to wait outside the room while the teachers examine Kacchan and research the villain.
It took forever to convince Kacchan to let go and lots of promises I wouldn't leave without him. It was kinda cute, but if Kacchan remembers this if or when the quirk wears off he's gonna actually kill me.

"We have good new and bad news," Recovery Girl began as she exited the room, Kacchan right behind her.
"What's that?" I asked nervously.
"The villains quirk makes whoever he shoots fall in love with the first person they see for three days."
"Three days?! That's why he loves me then, I was the first person he saw after being shot.." I started to mumble about the villains quirk and the three days of being stuck with Kacchan.
"Izuchan! You're so cute, especially when you go into nerd mode and start mumbling," he hugged me tightly, making me lose my train of thought.

"The good news being that there was no damage done to the boy, by the end of three days the affects will be gone, so he should be back to normal. He will remember the three days though so be careful." She winked at me which made me gape at her, as my face got warm.

"Thank you Recovery Girl," Iida and I thanked her before leaving to go back to the dorms.

"Izuchan! Guess what time it is!" Kacchan pulled me through the halls up to my room, practically jumping as I opened the door.
I sighed, if our roles were reversed I would have already be blown across the town by one of Kacchan's explosions.

"Remember though Kacchan, just cuddling." I tried my best to sound firm but just looking at him made me almost laugh, he looked like a little kid on Christmas.
