****Today's the day.
We leave for Scotland in a few hours. It's about a 12-15 hour plane ride, and they're 8 hours ahead of us. I'm going to be so jet lagged.
Our plane is around 7am, so we had to wake up for 4am, and let me say, I am tired.
"You ready beautiful?" I smiled. Thomas always made my mornings better.
I looked down at my carry-on and my backpack. "I think I'm ready."
I took a deep breath. I was kinda nervous. Scratch that. Really nervous.Thomas looked at me and noticed I was a little, a lot, nervous.
He walked over to me and grabbed my hand. "Hey, you're gonna be okay. I promise you'll be great."I sighed and shook my head. "Yeah, you're right. And it's okay if I don't get the part. It'll be a learning experience."
"Smart one you are, and you're right," he kissed my forehead. "c'mon, we have to go."

Honestly I don't like airports. I mean, whenever I go I always meet a lot of fans, which I love, but it's always so crowded and congested. Plus, snacks are so expensive.
It took a while to deal with baggage, they were a little too heavy. I don't understand why they charge extra for extra weight. It's not like we can weigh our luggage's at home.
Anyways, we then had to go through security. For some reason, it always makes me nervous even though I know I don't have anything bad on me or have done anything wrong. Maybe it's just the water bottles I have that they call a crime. But I guess it's just the general idea of it that makes me nervous.
Regardless, security took longer than I wanted it to. I mean, it's nice that it did because it killed some time before our plane, but I wanted walk around a little bit.
It was currently 6:30am, which is way too early for my taste, but the flight is at 7, so I guess all we can do it sit and wait. We walked a little to find our gate, which was 6.Sitting there just thinking about the flight was making me anxious. I'm not the biggest fan of plane rides, because really? Haven't you seen Lost? Turbulence is not fun, believe me. But I know I'll be okay because I'll have Thomas by my side. He's my rock.
"Calling all passengers on flight 232 to gate 6 to Scotland." Thomas and I stood up when we heard the monotone voice.
I grabbed his hand in one and my luggage in the other and we began to walk towards our gate.
The line up wasn't that long, there weren't that many people on this flight. It wasn't long before the flight attendant checked our tickets and approved us to go on the plane. Our seats were lane 4, seats 13 and 14.
I needed Thomas to put my carry on in the overhead compartment for me. He's 6 feet, I'm 5"2. Leave me alone.
I tried to get comfortable. I had Thomas sit on the inside seat because that seat was by the window and just looking out gave me too much anxiety. I'm working on coping with it and I've gotten better with it, but of course, it's always there. Thomas knew about it.
He saw the concern and worry on my face and grabbed my hand. "Hey, you're going to be okay. Everything is gonna be okay. I'm here for you, always. I'll be right here when you need me."
I took a deep breath and sigh a little with a smile. "Thank you. I'm sorry."
"Hey," he used his finger to make me look at him. "Don't be sorry, I am always here for you. It's never a problem. I do this because I love you. Okay?"
I nodded. "I'm sorry. No, wait. Sorry I said sorry."
We both broke into a smile. He really knew how to calm me down. I'm so grateful for him.

****12. Hour. Flights. Suck.
I tried not to sleep on the flight so it'll be easier to clear up and fix my sleep schedule later but I'd be lying if said I hadn't slept for a little bit. Honestly, I have no clue if Thomas slept. He looks as if nothing had happened and that it isn't 3 in the morning, Scotland time.
We tried to get out of the airport as quick as possible. I need to sleep as soon as possible to get my sleep schedule right. Back in LA, it's 7pm. My plan is to wake up at 12pm, at the latest.
I wanted to get out as quick as possible and leave as quick as possible, but taxis literally take forever. The drive is about half an hour. Normally I try not to get impatient, but truthfully, I was tired and I just wanted to get to Thomas' place so I could sleep.
Finally we get a taxi, 15 minutes later, and start on the other long journey to Thomas' house. I think I was slipping in and out of consciousness the whole ride. Typically I would be looking at my surroundings, but I was so tired that I just put my head on Thomas' shoulder and let myself drift off.
30 minutes later, I had apparently slept the whole 30 minutes, but nonetheless we were at Thomas' house. From the outside, I looked like a cute and cozy apartment or townhouse, whichever you like more. It looks like both.
We walked inside. "This is cute. It looks cozy." My words and sentences were slurred. I sounded drunk in my head.
"Thank you my love. I will give you a house tour tomorrow, but for now, you need to sleep." He showed me to the bedroom and the washroom. Truthfully I was too lazy to brush my teeth. One night is fine right?
The second I laid down on the bed, I'm pretty sure I passed out immediately. It's been a long day.
