Chapter 17 "Your words hurt me more than a knife"

~~ Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you two. Don't forget me, I beg, I will remember you said. Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead. Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead ~~ 

You both went to small and cozy cafe near your home. You took a seat at the table which was next to window. Jimin headed to the cash register to order one dark chocolate for you and latte macchiato for him. You glanced behind the window seeing children who are laughing and playing around. This view made a wide smile on your face.

"Woah i didn't expect that view of chocolate is able to make that big smile on your pretty face." you moved your look from children to Jimin who placed a red cup with dark chocolate on the table in front of you. You giggled at his comment and sipped.

"You don't know me well" you stuck out your tounge at him jokily. 
"I see but tell me what the heck is going on?" you sighed, shrugging your shoulders.
"I said. I didn't want to be alone" you explained and he sent you his leery look.
"(Y/N) i'm warning you. What's happening?" you gulped, lowered your head.
"I had a fight with Yoongi and i don't feel well after that"
"What a fight? Did he do something to you?" you immediately looked at him in disbelief and shook quickly your head.
"Of course no. He said a few painful words which can be true. That's all." 
"Tell me about them" you sighed, reminding the way he looked at you. With disgust and letdown.

"I invited my mate from college to help me with bureaucracy because i didn't know how to complete documents." he nodded, taking a sip of his coffee and licked his plump lips when a bit of hot liquid stayed at them.

"And what was later?" you closed your eyes, taking a long breath.
"He thought that it's a date but it wasn't. I swear. And then" you cut off feeling more embarrassed. " he said i hope he used a condom and his words hit me so fucking much because i don't know how people see me. Jimin tell me do i look like someone who could go with everyone to bed or do i look like someone who is easy?" your voice cracked when you met his shocked gaze.

"(Y/N) i know Yoongi hyung for long time and I'm mad at him because he shouldn't have even thought about you like this. And his words were so harsh but he acts like this when he's scared of losing something or somebody" Jimin explained with serious face making you confused because you don't know what it means.

"What? Jimin i don't understand" you frowned trying to get your thoughts together but you failed.
"Look, it's probably senseless in your eyes but this is his reaction for fear. He behaves like this because he doesn't want to be hurt more. You know when someone, who is important to him, immediately wants to leave him, he defends himself. He'd rather be hated than forgotten" you're just  looking at him not knowing what to say or think. In your head appeared a million questions and no answers.

"Jimin i don't know what to say. I'm confused" you gasped and he chuckled. His soft giggle redoubled in your empty head.
"I know it's super complicated but i'm sure he didn't want to hurt you. I mean Yoongi hyung sometimes is really strange and it's hard to understand him but he isn't the person who hurts people knowingly." you nodded, taking a sip of your chocolate. It's too much for you and you need more time to understand his demeanor. 
"Thank you for telling me about him. It's a little clearer for me to understand him" you smiled warmly and Jimin nodded showing you his smile-eye.

"No problem. It's my responsibility as your friend" he poked you in your arm making your giggle.
"The best friend ever" you said truly making him smiled even wider.

You spent two hours together when everyone of you decided to go home. You felt better after a conversation with him. You unblocked your door with automatic key and entered home. You're tired so you took a shower and put a mask on your face. You're already in pijamas when someone knocked on the door.
