"Would you sing it again for me Vauld?" Ms. Sigurados asked. "I didn't quite appreciate it the last time because of your discordant classmates."
"Miss, you know I don't–"
"Sing it!"
He groaned. "I found a love, fo-or me. Darling just dive right in, follow my lead–"
Perfection by Jed Meerman. I hate the fact that Ms. Sigurados asks Vauld to sing this song every single time she has a class with us. It's a beautiful song and I have nothing against it, however if these consecutive concerts will continue every time we have Science class, it'll be the end of my Jed Meerman loving days.
"I found a girl, beautiful and sweet. I never knew you were the someone, waiting for me...."
"Continue it Maine!" Ms. Sigurados reprimanded. "Sing!"
"Say what?!" Maine made a sudden reaction.
"Sing!"
She groaned. "'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was, I will not give you up this ti-ime...."
Vauld took a turn. "But darling just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own, and in your eyes you're holding mine–"
Then simultaneously. "Ba-by, I'm– dancing in the dark, with you between my arms, barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath, you heard it– darling you look, per-fect tonight...."
The class cheered and applauded for the unofficial couple and their darling song. Even I, who was very bitter, mustered a smile and clapped gently on my seat.
"Again!" Ms. Sigurados told.
"Miss, please, I'd rather not...." Vauld lowered his guitar and slowly backed away from the front.
"Nonsense! I won't start the class without an encore!"
"He's just a little stubborn 'cause he just broke up with Mavie last month," RA teased. "Mavie called it quits after the monthsary party that never went through."
"And the fact that it wasn't a pretty one hadn't made it any better," Oldame chuckled.
"Shut up!"
"Oh!" Ms. Sigurados smirked. "What's this gossip I hear? Vauld and Mavie finally broke up? Oh wow, that's disappointing."
"There's nothing to be disappointed about," Maine stood.
"She's right," Vauld agreed. "Now if you excuse us, miss."
"No! No! Sing!"
"Ehem," CJ coughed. "Ms. Sigurados, why don't we proceed to the lesson proper, shall we? Enough of the singing, this isn't MAPE. I think we were in lesson twelve, an introduction to the animal cell, weren't we?"
"Oh...." She sighed heavy heartedly. "You're right. Class, bring out your Science notebooks and–"
