Madi(POV)
I woke up to Jax screaming his head off which he doesn't do very often. I got up and I walked to the room next to mine which used to be Tyler's. I walked in and I picked him up from his crib. I rocked him slowly
M- shh baby it's ok
He had a scary dream and he started calming down
J- hungry
M- ok let's go get you puffs
J- yay
I carried him on my hip and I got downstairs. I put him in his high chair because I needed to get his blueberry puffs. I gave him some and I watched him and he looked like Anthony eating. My mom walked down
J- gramma
Mo- hi Jax
Jax went back to eating
Mo- your going to New York tonight so Jax can see the big Christmas tree right
M- yeah I'm just scared for him to go on his first airplane ride
Mo- he will be fine. He will like it
M- yeah
Mo- I have to go to work
M- ok
She came and kissed my head.
Mo- Jax I will see you in a couple days
J- otay buh buy
We laughed
Mo- bye
She left.
M- you want to go to gramma Cinda's
J- gramma
M- yeah grammas
He put his arms up for me to pick him up so I did. I walked upstairs and I walked into his room. I put him down and he went over to his clothes and handed me a shirt
J- I wear this
M- ok
I picked out pants for him and I got him dressed
M- you can play for while I'm going to get ready
He sat down and started playing with cars. I went to my room and I did my makeup. I did my hair.

I did hair before I went into nursing. I got dressed in leggings and a sweatshirt.
M- JAX
I yelled and he came running in. I laughed at his run
M- I'm ready to go
I grabbed his hand and he started walking down. We got down after a minute and I helped put his shoes on. I put his coat on since it's cold out. I then slipped on my Ugg's and i put Jax in his car seat. I carried the car seat to the car and I buckled him up. I then left and I got to Cinda's after 10 minutes. I parked in there driveway and I got Jax out of the car seat. I then carried him on my hip to the house. I knocked and walked in. My dog bailey and Rocco came running to us.
J- doggies
M- yeah
The dogs calmed down and I put Jax down and Cinda walked down
C- Jax I missed you
Jax ran to her and hugged her.
J- missed you gramma
Then tony came in to the living room
T- how's my favorite guy doing
J- good
They hugged and Jax started playing with his toys that were here
C- are you guys going to New York
M- yeah—
J- big tree
M- yeah we're going to see the big Christmas tree
He clapped and we laughed
M- we came to see you before we left.
T- that's good
Tony went over to play with Jax and me and Cinda walked into the kitchen.
C- has Anthony talked to you yet
M- no. I haven't heard from him in 2 years
C- he will soon
M- my mom said that everyday and I'm starting to not believe her.

An hour later we left and I drove back home. I brought Jax in and I walked upstairs. He helped me pack his clothes and then he went and played. I packed as fast as I could and got done so I rolled one suitcase down. I packed a bag with snacks, toys and diapers.

M- ok you ready to go
J- yay
He went to the door and I put his coat on. I then put his shoes on and I grabbed my coat and I carried him out and I put him in his car seat.
J- do I hafe to sit in her
M- just until you get a little bigger
J- otay
I giggled and I started driving. I got to the airport and I parked.
M- ok Jax do you want to walk but you have to hold my hand because it's dark and there will be a lot of people
J- ok hand
I picked him up and set him down. I grabbed my suitcase and then I grabbed Jax's bag which contains the snack bag too. I put the bag on my shoulder and I grabbed Jax's hand. I started walking and half way to the airport door Jax started crying.
M- Jax what's wrong.
I bent down to him
J- scared
I picked him up because he's scared in the dark
M- it's ok we will get inside. You see that big building that's bright. We're going in there
J- otay
I carried him in and I checked in and they took my luggage. I kept Jax's bag because we will need it on the plane. I walked to our gate and I sat down.
M- when we get to New York you might be sleeping so do you want your apple sauce or your milk for the night.
He grabbed his milk I made him with his formula earlier. He drank it and our plane got called
M- let's go Jax
J- otay mamma
I picked him up and grabbed the bag. I walked on the plane and we sat down. I buckled Jax and I up.
J- big plane
M- yeah it's a very big plane.
The plane left and I put up the arm rest and Jax looks at me
J- where's my dada
M- what do you mean
Of course he knows he has dad I just keep telling him he's away
J- carter has a dad but I don't
He looked sad
M- he's away still
J- ok
He leaned on me and a few minutes later he fell asleep. I looked out the window and a hour later we landed. I carried him out and I got an Uber. The driver helped me put my bags in and he drove me to my hotel. It was snowing and I got out and I brought my bags in. I got my room card and I went up to level 4. I got to my room 417 and I walked in and laid Jax down. I laid down and I posted a photo on Instagram

I laid Jax's teddy bear and baby blanket next to him and then I fell asleep.
