My Lovely. (Jalbert)

Chapter 1

I groaned and rolled over to the other side of the bed hiding my face from the sun shining from the window blinds. I saw my phone on the bed sheet covers. I used all my strength to reach over to it. I turned it on and read the time. It was 11 am.

Hey at least I woke up some what in the morning? I turned around and looked up at the ceiling. I rubbed my eyes open and yawned. I sat up recalling the events from last night.

It wasn't anything bad but Lana told me she wanted to move on to better things. I just wanted her to be happy so she moved out and got an apartment close to downtown.

We remained friends and if she's happy, I'm happy. I guess I just sort of missed her. I still haven't told my best friend Jake about the whole situation. I should probably do that before I forget.

I yawned once again and stretched. I scratched the back of my neck as I walked over to my office ignoring the messy hair and tried looking face.

I loaded up my computer and rubbed my face with my hand. I opened up Skype and went onto Jake and I's tab.

Albert: dumb ass you up?

I saw the little texting bubble signalling  that he was in fact awake.

Jake: no

I chuckled at his text.

Albert: come on I wanna chat plz

Jake: fine

I smiled tiredly but clicked the little phone icon. It began ringing but shortly after Jake answered. As me, his face was greatly tired.

"Just wake up?" I asked still stretching my arms.

"Yeah, I assume you have too." He said.

I pushed the messy hair out of my face so it was much more clear to him as I nodded.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" He asked while yawning.

"I just wanted to tell you Lana and I broke up, she moved out yesterday." I said. I tried not to show I was sad but he's known me this long he might've noticed.

"Shit, you guys alright?" Jake asked. He showed curiosity an great attention which is what I admired about him most of the time.

"Yeah, we remained friends. I just hope she gets what she wants in life." I smiled slightly as I explained to him.

"Well that's good, is it lonely over there?" He asked pushing aside the hair in his face.

"Well when I woke up this morning it was nice because I didn't have to wake up at like 8 after recording videos at 3 in the morning, but otherwise yeah it's pretty lonely in this house." I said honestly. I have a feeling he's onto something here.

"Mind if I visit? My mom is gonna be having some people over and I don't want to be in the way." He said chuckling slightly.

"Your mom will have people over so long that you'll fly over to Florida?" I asked slightly laughing at his lame excuse.

"Look man I need to get out of this house please just let me come." He jokingly pleaded.

"Sure, how long?" I asked still laughing.

"How about a month?" He said.

I was shocked at the offer. A month is awhile. I mean I didn't mind whatsoever but damn that's awhile.

"Uh sure, isn't that a really long time though?" I asked him.

"Yeah well we haven't collabed in awhile, we should tease the Jalbert shippers a bit too ha." He slightly laughed.

I laughed too knowing it was all my fault the Jalbert shipping had been going on.

"Ha sure, when you coming?" I asked him. This way I could clean up the house a bit for him to stay.

"When's good for you?" He asked me. Literally any time was good for me. I figured he needed to pack and stuff first though.

"Next week sound good?" I said rubbing my eyes.

"Sounds good, wanna record while we're at it?" He asked. My face immediately lit up. He was right. Even though we talk almost everyday we haven't recorded in awhile.

"Totally."

(Couple Hours Later.)

"Alright, I'll cya tomorrow?" Jake said stretching his arms out to the side.

"Yeah, cya." We hung up the call as I sat back in my chair.

We had recorded about 4 videos today and in between were laughing our asses off as usual.

To me, this was a day well spent even if it meant I just played roblox all day. But hey, it was with my best bud so who doesn't want that?

I sent off the videos too my editor and headed into the kitchen area. I opened up the fridge to find nothing but a half empty bottle of milk and a untouched peanut butter jar.

I closed the fridge door and decided I'll order pizza instead.
