"Guys I really don't feel like going out" Maddie complains walking into my dorm room
"Maddie it's your birthday, we're not staying in" Patricia gives her a stern look
I laugh and look up from the mirror I'm currently doing my make up in
"It won't be that bad mads" I tell her "and if your really not feeling it when we get to the club then we can go home"
She nods and sits down beside me
"Where's Grayson?" She asks
I roll my eyes "with some girl. She knocked on the door earlier and he left with her"
"Like on a date?" Patricia asks playing into my lie
"Seems like it"
"You jealous?" Clare asks
I shake my head "why would I be"
"Are you talking to him?"
I scrunch my nose up "I might seem a bit off but I answer"
"You two" Maddie rolls her eyes
"Why couldn't your boyfriend come to see you?" Patricia pretends to ask
Maddie is sighing "he's working"
"I'm sure he'll make it up to you the next time you see him" Clare winks
An hour later aka ten minutes after we were supposed to arrive at the club where everyone is waiting, we're all getting changed
Maddies wearing a red bodycon dress, Patricia is wearing a pink crop top and white skirt, Clare is wearing a baby blue co ord set and I'm wearing the purple version of Clare's co ord
"We look good if I do say so myself" Patricia smirks
"We're going to find some hot strangers tonight" Clare grins
"Don't rub it in" Maddie complains
I laugh "Don't worry Mads, I'm not in the boy mood so we can just get drunk together"
Clare rolls her eyes smiling "boring"
We get to the club an Uber drive later and Maddie still doesn't suspect anything
Maddie walks in first, the three of us behind her
"Surprise" Every shouts and the DJ introduces her
"Oh my god" she turns around to us and gives us all a hug "I wasn't expecting this thank you so much"
When she turns around her smile widens even more because her boyfriend is looking at her with roses in his hands
"Chris" she shouts over the music and runs over to him before jumping into his arms
Clare goes over to someone I don't know and me and Patricia go over to the bar
