You stare at me with forbidden jewels,
As you hiss out venom,
That poison that intoxicates me,
Is it actually that you don't know what your doing?
Or do you just not care?
Do you not care that every wave of pain,
Tsunami of anxiety,
Is associated with your voice,
A light switch that just flicks on neon bulbs shaped into letters that spell you,
Flashing and blinding me,
Disjointed and lost without the brightness,
I always find my way back to you,
Almost as if living without the abuse,
And carrying on empty inside,
Is worse than you digging a deeper hole,
