Chapter Sixteen *Edited*

After a few days of hiding in the woods and Misty watching houses, she found one that would be perfect for her to hide out in. It's a one bedroom house with an old cat lady living there. She killed the woman in her sleep, then got rid of all the cats. Misty crashed there for a little while before going out killing.

When she returned she was covered in blood but didn't care. She sat on the bed with her phone on waiting to see if her brother would send Ben to check on her. She was actually kinda wanting to see Ben. After an hour she turned the phone off before going to bed.

The next day she woke up and took a shower washing the blood off. When she got out she got into a long sleeve shirt and jeans. Before she left the house she pulled her coat on and shoved money from her recent kills in her pockets. She left the house going to the store.

Misty bought pizzas, monsters, powerades, Doritos, and tons of candy. When she got back to the house she put the drinks and pizzas in the fridge and the candy in the cabinet with the Doritos. She took one of the bags to eat. When she walked into the room she was now calling hers, she saw Ben sitting on the bed.

"Hey." That was all she said.

"Sup Misty. Masky sent me to check on you. How ya doing?" He looked at her smiling.

"I'm doing pretty good. Want some Doritos?" She smiled back. Ben laughs and says sure. She walked over and sat on the bed. He reached into the bag pulling out some Doritos to eat. "Want to come on a kill with me tonight? The family has a gaming system." She tried to bribe him.

"Sure, why not." They sat around eating Doritos. Misty got up heading to the kitchen.

"Want something to drink?" She called into the bedroom. He walked into the kitchen.

"Sure." He took one of the monsters and opened it. They return to the bedroom.

"Tonight when we get to the house, I need you to get the game system and if they got any good movies get them too." She smiled.

"Will do Misty." He says. When night finally fell Misty got off the bed and looked in her suitcase. "What are you doing?"

"Looking for my hunting outfit." She pulled out a black long sleeve shirt and black jeans. "This is the one thing I hate about winter. Having to bundle up to keep warm." She sighed before grabbing her clothes and going to the bathroom. She changed into the shirt and jeans before coming back out. Misty grabbed her spike gloves and pulled on a pair of black fuzzy boots.

She sat at a dresser in the old lady's room with her makeup. When she's about finished she turned to Ben. 

"Hey, can you grab my black hoodie?"

"Sure." She turned back around to finish up her makeup. She put her lipstick on and stood up turning to Ben. Misty pulled her hoodie on and they set out. She led the way to the house.

Once they get to the house, Misty sneaked into the parent's bedroom while Ben was looking at the games and stuff. She killed the parents and made her way into the rest of the rooms. She found a teenage girl and silently killed her.

Misty dipped her fingers in the girl's blood writing a message on the wall. When she's finished in the girl's room she walked down the hall finding a little boy's room. She stood beside the bed looking down at the kid.

"You're safe for now." She whispered before leaving. Misty walked back to the girl's room and dipped her fingers in the blood. She licked the blood as she joined Ben in the living room. He saw her licking blood off her fingers.

"What? My demon side likes blood." Once the blood was off of her hand, she washed her hands in the kitchen. She came back into the living room meeting up with Ben. "Ok, I already got the money off of the family I'm ready to go before someone calls the cops." Ben picked up the game system. He has her carry a few movies and a few games back to the house she's hiding out at. They walk in the back door and into the bedroom.
