Chapter Twenty Six

Everyone is sitting in the living room hanging around. Even Slender is with them. Misty is sitting by Ben and she is deep in thought. She starts smiling and it confuses them. Slender looks in her mind to see what she is thinking of.

(Flashback)

A little three year old Misty is holding her brother's hand. He is seven years old. They are walking in the edge of the woods enjoying the breeze. Tim pulls her with him.

"Where are we going Tim?"

"Somewhere special." She giggles and keeps following him. Tim pushes a bush out of the way and steps into a meadow. A river runs through the center and there are tons of flowers growing everywhere. Misty looks around smiling.

"It's so pretty." Tim smiles at his sister.

"Since mom and dad are not home, I figured you would want to get out of the house." She smiles before letting go of his hand running over to the edge of the water. She sits down and Tim comes to join her. Misty runs her hand in the water playing while Tim is smiling.

"Tim?"

"Yeah?" Is pokes his shoulder.

"You're it." She gets up and takes off running around the meadow. Tim just laughs.

"Not fair. You didn't give me a chance." He gets up chasing after her. They run around tagging each other for about an hour before Misty gets tired of running and lies in the flowers looking up at the sky. Her eyes are a light color of blue, her skin is lightly tanned, and her hair is a light shade of black. Tim lies beside her in the flowers. His skin is tanned, his eyes are blue like hers, and his hair is a light brown.

They lie there resting from running so much. "Tim?"

"Yeah Misty?"

"Why do you fight with mommy and daddy so much?"

"They just don't understand me. Don't worry Misty everything will be fine."

"Promise?"

"Promise." She holds her pinky out to her brother.

"Pinky swear?" He just laughs before linking his pinky with hers.

"Pinky swear." Misty gets up running around the meadow until she trips and tumbles down a hill. "Misty!" Tim gets up and runs down the hill to her. "You ok?" He is freaking out.

"Yea I'm fine." She is sitting on the ground looking up at her brother. He holds a hand out to her. Misty takes his hand but when she stands up she collapses back down. She cries out from pain. "My ankle hurts." She tells him. Tim picks Misty up and she leans on him. After awhile of them walking back to their house Misty's ankle starts to hurt worse. Tim picks her up carrying her on his back.

"Mom will know what to do for your ankle sis." He tells her. She has her head lying on his shoulder.

"You think so?" He laughs.

"She always does." They hear a growling sound and Misty turns her head to look behind them. She sees a red and black dog smiling at them.

"T-Tim?" He turns his head to see what scared her. He sees the dog and it starts forward. Tim runs with Misty on his back

"Just hang onto me sis." He keeps running and they took a wrong patch. Tim climbs up a tree with Misty still hanging on to him. When they get to the branch Misty gets off his back scooting out on the branch before Tim climbs on. They look down seeing the dog. "I think we are good up here."

"Tim I'm tired." She says. He lies his back against the tree and has his legs hanging over. Misty scoots and lies back into his chest. Tim wraps his arms around his sister. She has her head lying on his chest.

"Just rest for now. When it's clear I'll get us back home." She yawns and starts to fall asleep. "I will always protect you Misty. Always." She falls into a deeper sleep.

(End of flashback)

Misty starts getting a slight headache.

"Slender what have I told you about lurking in my mind?" She is holding a hand to her head.

"Not to."

"And why was you lurking in my mind?"

"Because I wanted to child. By the way sweet memory." He tells her.

"Thanks." Ben looks over at her with everyone else.

"What was you thinking of babe?"

"When I was younger." Raven and Chance runs in the room in their hunting outfits.

"Mom? When do we get to learn our witch powers?" They say in unison.

"We can start now. Lets go." She stands up and they follow her outside. They walk deep into the woods going to the clearing. Once there Misty sits on the ground. Raven and Chance copy Misty and sit on the ground. "Now just relax." Misty closes her eyes relaxing. Raven and Chance look at each other before shrugging and closing their eyes.

"Now what?" They asked.

"Just relax. When you start feeling light, like you're free from the stress of the world focus your energy on the would around you." Misty keeps her eyes closed already relaxed. They sit there about thirty minutes before Raven and Chance even start to feel relaxed. They feel stress free and light as a feather. "Think about a nice cool breeze just blowing through right now." The twins start thinking about it and the breeze starts blowing. Misty has her eyes open watching. Raven and Chance are hovering above the ground smiling.

Ben and the others are standing behind trees watching them. Misty sees them and motions them not to speak. She focuses her attention back on them. She looks at Raven and Chance to see what their auras shows. Raven's aura shows darkness, fire, and lightning. Chance's aura shows wind, ice, and water.

Misty is looking into there auras trying to figure out what to do next. Masky and everyone is confused about why she looks focused.

"Sis?" Raven's and Chance's eyes fly open and they hit the ground.

"That's why I said no sounds." Misty gets up walking over to them. "You two ok?" She bends down beside them.

"Yea." They say in unison. She helps them up and smiles.

"Babe, what was you doing?"

"Looking into their auras. I wanted to see what elements work best for them."

"Mama? What works best for me?" Raven asked.

"Darkness, fire, and lightning. Chance, you work best with wind, ice, and water." They look at each other.

"Cool!" They cheer and jump up and down. Misty smiles and walks over to Ben. He wraps an arm around her waist and kisses her when they look at them. "Ewww!!" Chance slaps a hand over Raven's eyes and she does the same thing to him. Masky and the others laugh at them.

"I agree with you two." Masky says. They take them back to the mansion but Ben and Misty stay to talk.

"Babe, I want to take them on there first killing spree."

"Baby I don't know about this. I don't want them to grow up too fast. They could get hurt."

"I know babe but they will be with us. I've seen Chance's work. He is ready and Raven she is just like you." He wraps his other arm around her waist and pulls her closer.

"Fine baby, we will take them out." She smashes her lips onto his kissing him. They pull apart and walk hand in hand back to the mansion.
