Dan finished his song and Phil stared at him in awe. "You wrote that," he began, "f,for me?"
"Well duh! Who else would I write it for? You are after all, the only one I love!"
"Oh my goodness, stop being so sweet: youre going to make me cry!"
"Aw, come here." Dan smiled as he enveloped Phil in a hug. They broke apart and Phil leaned up for a kiss. It was sweet and passion filled and Phil felt his body fill with happiness. He thought back on all the wonderful times they had had together and grinned from ear to ear.
"If you keep that up then the Cheshire cat will be out of a job!" Dan laughed.
"Oh shut up you and give me another kiss!"
"Anything for you my love!"
"Youre such a goof you know Dan? We were having a lovely, emotional moment and then you came along with your dry humour and ruined it!" Phil scolded, a huge smile still plastered to his face.
"I know im a goof but im your goof, and you love me for it."
"That is true..." Phil looked thoughtful for a moment, "Maybe ill let it slide, just this once. But next time you might not be so lucky, however there is a small fine.."
"And what might that be?" Queried Dan, a suggestive look on his face.
"Oh for gods sake, just shut up and kiss me all ready!" Again they kissed and when they broke away, they both had the look of people who were truly content with life.
"You know Dan, I really do love you, more than I ever thought it was possible to love one person."
"You know Phil, I really love you too."
