We walked to the beginning of the village in a heavy silence. I glanced at Owen, wanting to ask so many questions, but I wasn't sure which one to ask first. I sighed, kicking a rock. "So... Why shouldn't I trust Feen? He seems nice." I asked. He did seem nice, maybe a bit forceful, but nice. Owen nodded. "I knew you were going to ask that. Well, I shouldn't be talking since I'm new to the group, but he's dangerous. I'm sure he told you about hybrids?" He asked, looking at me. I slowly nod.

"Yeah. He mentioned it." I answered simply. Owen nodded. "Then I'm sure he didn't go over what blood hybrids are, along with what hellhounds are." He muttered. I shook my head, a bit confused. "No, he didn't mention that." I whispered quietly. Owen stopped, turning to me. "Hellhounds are basically werewolves, but they are a lot stronger. They also tend to have a different form as werewolves and some can over power certain Natural Borns." He explained. I cocked my head. "Okay. But why wouldn't he tell me that?" I wondered aloud. Owen chuckled.

"Raze is his best friend. Have you met him yet?" He asked. I shook my head and Owen sighed. "Well, he's a blood hellhound. Been probably didn't want you to fear him." He said. I tilted my head. "Blood? As in blood hybrids?" I asked, crossing my arms. He nodded. "Exactly. Are you familiar with blood hybrids?" He asked and smiled as I shook me head. He seemed a lot more relaxed then Feen.

"Blood hybrids are hybrids that have very powerful magic. It's a side of you that can only activate when your in your true form and have your own blood on your body. Really it's like a defense mechanism." He explains carefully. I shift my weight from foot to foot, staring at the ground. "Oh, that sounds... I mean, it shouldn't be that dangerous, right? As long as Raze doesn't get mad at me, I'll live." I thought out loud. Owen shook his head, stuffing his hands into his pockets in his fluffy sweatshirt.

"He's not the only blood hybrid. Feen... He's a dragon hybrid." Owen stated, like that singular statement was supposed to explain everything. He sighed at the confusion in my face. "Dragon hybrids aren't supposed to exist. They are random, unpredictable. Not even Feen can control it sometimes." He explained. "On top of it, Feen is a blood hybrid. He's twice as strong as all of us here. There are only two people who can match him in strength, and both of them still have a hard time taking him." He said.

I nodded, absorbing the information. "So... Why shouldn't I trust him?" I asked simply. Owen looked at me patiently. "Because he could seriously hurt you." He muttered, his kind eyes a bit sad. I growled. "And why should that change anything?! He still has emotions!" I exclaimed. I don't know why I was defending Feen. I hardly know him and he didn't share everything with me. But I felt like making him the outcast won't solve anything either.

Owen put his hand up, stopping me from speaking. "I'm not saying he didn't. Just be careful." He assured quickly, a bit nervous. I nodded slowly, figuring it was better to drop the subject all together. "Okay, lets start tour." I exclaimed excitedly, looking around. Feen's house was right by the entrance so I didn't get the chance to look around while we walked, but the basic layout of the town was simple.

Houses on the left, the shops on the right. There was a small bakery and clothing store right in front of us. The bakery smelled of freshly baked bread and heavily creamed coffee, which made my mouth water. Owen spread his hands out, chuckling. "This is Zanian. It's quite cozy, and just about everyone knows everyone." He introduces with a small mock bravo. I giggled. "Enchanting." I teased. He smiled. "You'd be surprised." He said and started walking down the road.

It look more like a dirt pathway that cut through the town. I kicked an occasional rock that came by my feet and listen to Owen as he talked about each house. It wasn't a really helpful tour as most of the things he said were obvious. I was patient with him as he was kind to me, but it was very awkward. By the time we finished, it was already sunset. Owen turned to me with an innocent smile.

"Did you like my tour?" He asked excitedly. He looked so eager to hear what my opinion was, I didn't have the heart to say no. "It was wonderful!" I lied. He nodded, satisfied. "Great! I'm glad. Here, I'll let you get some sleep." He smiles and waves. "Goodnight!" He shouts. I giggled. "Goodnight Owen." I smiled and went inside running right into the person I wanted to avoid right now. Feel glared at me, crossing his arms. "Where have you been?"
