"Ming! Mingkwan! You don't understand." He says grabbing my arm.

"You're right P'Kit, I don't." I say then pry his hand off of my arm and leave.

"Ming, please don't be this way." He says as he wraps his arms around me.

"I'm doing this for you. You're a freshman going to the faculty of Engineering." He says like that explains everything.

"So?" I ask trying to give him the chance to explain.

"Fine we'll live together but you can't let anyone from your faculty know." He says.

"If I have to keep it a secret I may as well not do it." I tell him and decide I really need to leave before I cry in front of him.

"No Ming, don't go. I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to hurt you. That's the thing, I don't want you to get hurt and when people find out we're together it will become....difficult." He says.

"Why because we're both men?" I ask incredulously.

"Really Pii, I thought this school would be more open in this day and age."
