Richie's POV
Monday, 6:24 am
I woke up with a drooling y/n on me. I sat there admiring her for a second. "Y/n C'mon time to get up." I slightly shook her. "Errrghh!" Y/n groaned. "Yeah I know." I got up and got dressed.

Finally after I got dressed I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs. "Dammmnn look at my girl work it!" Richie got up with his bag. "Not so bad yourself handsome." I grinned at the cute boy in front of me. "Shall we?" He held his hand out. "We shall." I nodded grabbing his hand. On the way to school we talked about random stuff. "You were so nerdy back then!" I exclaimed. "Hey! First of all, it wasn't that long ago chill! Second of all, we all have glo-ups and I tend to keep my Hawaiian shirts up in my closet safe and sound." He stated. "Mm." I said. We got to school and the bell rang. We walked inside of the classroom together. "Okay class! I will be moving around some students so stand at the back of the room." We all stood there patiently as the teacher walked down the rows determining who to put here nor there. "Okay, first row. Jacky. George. Lucy. Mike. Macy. And.... Lucas." I sighed waiting for my seat. "Second row. Pete. Mac. Lindsay. Tom. Sid. And Ryan. Third row. Hope. Raiden. Holden. Caleb. Sam. And Xander. Last but not least... forth row! We got Keaton, Heath, Zayn, Tiana, Richie, and Y/n." "Yes!" Richie and I both whisper yelled. We got to our seats and quietly messed around the whole period.
Time Skip to Lunch
Back to Richie's POV
We got in the long ass line and waited. I grabbed y/n's hand. "I love you." I kissed her cheek. "Love you more." She squeezed my hand. I smiled at her and we talked. Greta and her posse made their way towards us. "Oh no." Y/n whispered scooting closer to me. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "Well look what we have here girls. The couple that wants to be popular but will never be." She snickered. "Who said we wanted to be popular? Last time I checked the bitch lounge is over there." Y/n snapped back pointing towards a table with Henry Bowers. "You better watch your mouth slut." She got closer. "Or what? Are you gonna dump trash on me because that's the only 'clever' thing you could come up with? Why do you dump trash on people anyways? Do you just have to remind people that you are the one who's trash?" Y/n stepped out of my grasp. I looked around and people were circled around us by now. "I said you better watch it!" Greta's voice raised. "And I said, or what! Unless you're too slutty to hear that too?" Y/n shot back. Everybody oohed. Damn she's got words. All of a sudden I heard a slap! Y/n was on the ground holding her cheek. "That's when you crossed a line bitch!" Beverly stepped up and punched her in the nose. "Hey! Break it up kiddos!" The lunch administrator came towards us. "You, you, you, and you! Office. Now!" He pointed to Y/n, Greta, Beverly, and I. We all walked towards the office. "What were you kids thinking?!" Our principal, Mr. Harrison, yelled. "We didn't do anything! Greta came up and started everything!" Beverly defended. "Who hit who first?" Mr. Harrison asked. "Greta." Y/n, Beverly, and I said in unison. "But-" "No buts. Greta since you started it first, you get 2 weeks of out of school suspension. And there's already been reports about you bullying so from this day on, you will stay an hour after the bell scraping gum and helping the janitor." He finished. "That's so not fair!" "It is, unless you want it to be two hours after school?" He asked. "No sir." She got up and shot Y/n a death glare before she left. "Jeez, that girl." Mr. Harrison shook his head. "Tell me about it." Y/n scoffed. "So what happens to us?" I asked him. "Oh, nothing." He shrugged his shoulders. "Wait, for real?!" Y/n asked. "Look, you all have clean records and I don't see this situation being your faults. You defended yourself." He explained. "Alright!" Beverly gave Y/n a high-five. "Now get to your sixth hour. I may be cool but not that cool." He chuckled waving us off. "Later Principal Harrison." I waved and we all headed to the library. Our sixth hour was just study hall but the librarian is too old to comprehend anything so we usually just hungout in the corner. We walked in and to our corner. Y/N sat down then I sat down next to her. I leaned against the wall playing music on my phone. My headphones were blasting loud music through my ears. I closed my eyes and drifted off into my thoughts. "Why can't you be like every other perfect kid!? Huh!? I thought we raised you right!" Dads voice echoed. "Well newsflash... not everyone's perfect!" I yelled towards him. "You are just an ungrateful piece of shit!" He screamed back. "Oh yeah? Guess we have something in common then! I raised my hands in the air. Next thing I felt was pain. Everywhere. He kicked me. Over and over. Until I couldn't breathe. Then, just like that, he was gone. And he was never coming back. Ever. "Babe!" Y/n shook me snapping me out of my haunting memories. "You okay?" She asked worried. "Yeah." I smiled. "Well let's go, the bell rang." She said getting up. "Alright." I grabbed her hand and we walked out of school. We walked down the street talking about random stuff. Until we saw an ambulance and cop car race past us. "What the hell is going on?" Y/n asked. "I don't know." I shrugged. We followed the cars right to y/n's house. "Omg!" Y/n's put her hand over her mouth. Her dad was on a stretcher. There was blood all over him. She ran over to him.
Y/n's POV
"Dad!" I screamed running towards him. "Y/n." He groaned in pain. "What happened?!" I panicked. "Your mom. She came over with a knife and she stabbed me." He swallowed. "No, I should've been here for you." I sobbed. "There was nothing you can do, you were at school anyways." He smiles weakly. I couldn't say anything. I was crying really hard. Richie walked up next to me. "Hey Mr. L/n." He said shyly. He just smiled. "Are you this man's daughter?" A paramedic came up to us. I nodded. "So we got the story and it checks out. Apparently your mom isn't very good at hiding her tracks. We found her handprint on the handles and the areas your dad's blood is. Your dad was stabbed in the stomach so nothing was severely severed. He will be just fine." He smiled. "Oh thank god!" I sighed sighed in relief. "C'mon you two, we got to get him the the hospital." Richie and I climbed into the ambulance and sat next to my dad on the bumpy way there. I held onto my dad's hand. Richie was holding my other hand. I can't believe this. Why me? It's like my happiness doesn't matter. The universe just wants me to suffer all the time. It sucks. It feels like I'm always unhappy. That's not fair to Richie. That's not fair to myself. What did i do to deserve this?
