Chapter 10

*SHANE POV*

I walk into the room staring at my moms body. I feel sick to my stomach to see my mother in this state. How could I let this happen to her.

I started to cry. Every tear felt like acid on my face, but they just kept pouring.

I unsteadily walked over to beside my mom. I sit down on the purple chair holding onto my mothers hand.

She suddenly opened her eyes and turned her head.

Shane's mom

"This is your fault."

Shane

"What?"

Shane's mom

"Why didn't you protect me from him?"

Shane

"From who mom?"

Shane's mom

"From him!"

She pointed over to the door. I slowly turned my head over to the opened door.

I see standing there was....

My father

Well that's the end of the chapter. just joking....

Shane's dad

"Hello shane. miss me?"

I was starting to sweat. I wanted to scream at him for what he did, I wanted to hit him. but I couldn't, not because I was scared (which I was) but because I was frozen by the sight.

How could he be here?

My father moved closer to towards me with his fist clenched. He lifted up his fist and swung.

Suddenly I woke up and screamed.

Lisa

"Shane are you okay?"

I turned to see her fallen to the floor. I guess I must off pushed her off when I sat up.

I picked her up and have her hug. tears started falling down my face.

Lisa

"It's okay shane. shhh. it's okay. it was just a dream."

I moved my arms so she was free.

Shane

"Did... the hospital... call? about my mom?"

Lisa

"What? what are you talking about?"

Shane

"Didn't the hospital call when we were about to kiss..."

Lisa

"What kiss? We came home and we fell asleep on the coach... wait! you had a dream about us kissing?"

I blushed and so did she.

Thank god my mom isn't in hospital
