April 19
*Breaking news* Good evening everyone, this is Sarah Ferguson reporting for KYSD News. The Sheriff has issued an immediate evacuation of the city. There seems to be, as odd as it sounds, a zombie invasion. As of right now there is no evidence of why this has happened. The sheriff urges everyone to leave town before the situation becomes out of control.”
Olivia
It had been two days since Ethan had died and miraculously come back to life. Olivia was still heartbroken but with her current circumstances she could not rightly stay upset over it.
Sheriff Clark had come in to the house yesterday when Carol McGillen had gotten sick. He had taken Olivia and her mother away from the house and they stayed with him for the night.
“Sheriff, what is going on?” Shelly asked.
“Mrs. Hensley, I assure you if I knew I would tell you. However I do not know and the only person who can help us is unreachable, Dr. Talvett.”
Shelly sighed, “Livi honey, are you alright?”
“Mom, are you seriously asking me that question? We are in the middle of some horror movie, and you are asking me if I am alright?”
“You know what I mean darling.”
“Yes, mom. Considering the circumstances, I am fine.” Olivia glared at her mother and thought how dare she ask me that after what happened yesterday!
Last night all of them had to go back to the police station to call the media and to raid the weapons. When they walked into the station Olivia had seen things she has never seen before; at least not in person. The undead had been in the building and the sheriff had to shoot them. Although the sounds of the gun just seem to bring more towards them. They got out safely but the more she thought about it, Olivia knew that their time in the situation would not be long.
Richard & Stella
Richard’s eyes grew as he realized what was going on. He had no idea how he was going to hide the fact that his dead son was coming back to life from his wife.
“Stella, why don’t you go get us something to drink and then we will leave?” She got up and walked out of the living room. Just in time too. Scotty had started to stir.
“Oh Scotty, I am so sorry this has happened to you. I promise you, I will find out what is wrong and I will fix it.” As he gave his son a hug he heard a gurgling sound coming from his throat. He realized he needed to move Scotty before Stella came back to see him alive again.
Richard hurried and grabbed his son and took him to his bedroom. He then proceeded to look for a form of chain to tie the boy up. Since Richard had no idea what this was or what was causing it, he could not take any chances but the more he looked at his son, his heart broke. The little blue eyed, blonde haired boy he had left at home last night was not forming into a black eyed, gray skinned version of himself.
Richard had to shake himself out of it when he realized that his son was now moaning and mashing his teeth together at him trying to take a bite. Richard knew what he had to do, so he picked up the phone
“Yeah, Will. Meet me and my family at the morgue. Emily Boisen is down there. We need to run some tests.”
Once everyone was at the morgue, Stella, Olivia, and Shelly could not believe what they were seeing. Emily Boisen was chained to the slab reaching for them.
“What is wrong with her Daddy?” Aly asked.
“She is sick honey, just like Scotty was. But I do not know why and that is why we are here. We are going to find out. Olivia?”
