Queen Felicity Lowell's Point of View

As we both exited Dimitrius' castle, I was hit by the cool and fresh breeze. I know that after the horrific incident with Dominic, my skin hasn't felt the sun for days. I've been locked up with nothing but the darkness yet still, he didn't win. I would have never let him.

"Are you ready to go?" Dimitrius asked me while he held his hand out which I gratefully took. His hands felt soft and smooth, he squeezed mine and pulled me to his arms where I met his hard chest. "This will be fast," he whispered before I felt something painful in my head.

I thought that after I blinked, we were already in the human kingdom but we were still in the same place. My head was throbbing it felt like needles puncturing my skin.

"Dimitrius," I hissed out in pain and gripped his arm tighter. "It hurts so much," I said and his replies were muffled. I held my head in my hands as I felt myself fall into Dimitrius' arms.

Then, another agonizing second passed and my eyes opened. I was no longer where we were, I was in a room, a familiar one. I looked at the walls, the bed, and everything made sense, I was in my room, in the Lowell Kingdom but Dimitrius was nowhere in sight.

Slowly, I walked towards the door and opened it, the halls were the same, there were servants passing by while I quickly realized, they weren't just any servants, they were the vampire slaves.

All of them glared at me, I heard screams which I followed and led me to Jonathan's room. I didn't have to hear twice, I knew it was Katherine's voice.

When I opened the door, Jonathan was roughly forcing himself on her while Katherine was tied down by ropes that burned through her skin. "Stop!" I screamed but he didn't seem to hear me. "Jonathan, please stop!" My voice was cracking.

Katherine looked at me while the tears in her eyes stopped. She whispered something that went straight through my heart,

"This was all your fault."

I ran towards them and tried to push him away. Instead, I was faced into another situation. My eyes scanned the area and quickly realized it was a forest, the heavy rainfall dripped on my head while thunders roared in the sky.

"Lorenzo!" Someone screamed. Again, her voice was familiar. She screamed a name which I couldn't understand. I followed the sounds of her screams and saw Odette. She was crying while her hands held a fire barrier, protecting wolves and witches inside.

"Lorenzo, where's my child!" She screamed and there he came, in a wolf form, with blood splattered all over his fur. It only took one look from his eyes to tell Odette that her child was no longer safe.

She dropped to the ground and sobbed until an uproarious scream echoed through the whole dark forest. The lightning became louder, the night cried blood, this was the night of the prophecy.

When Odette locked eye contact with me, her sobs ceased and she mumbled something to me,

"This was all your fault."

I stepped away from them, not wanting to witness anything anymore. After that, I appeared in a dark alley, I saw a girl walking, she was beautiful, her features were hard to see in the dark but the way she walked and the curves of her body that was shadowed by the moon, it made her look alluring.
