The truth

Me and Natsu head out in search of the ring. Since it won't be hard to mistake the scent we were hot on the trail in no time. We soon came across a pawn shop. We entered and saw the ring on display. We talked to the manager and found out that a woman had taken the ring in the pawn shop and sold it just yesterday. We managed to negotiate the price down and quickly took the ring back to the man at the mansion. He was surprised we found it so quickly. He chuckled and paid us and as we were heading to the room to get our stuff he stopped us.

"Stay the night please as my guests. You brought back my ring so quickly, it's the least I can do. I will even treat you both to a wonderful feast." He says with a smile. Natsu perked up at the mention of a feast and we both agreed.

True to his word he set out of a feast of many different meats and breads and many other items. There were deserts of all kinds and drinks all around. Natsu ate like a king and I just laughed at him. He got so fat from eating so much food I wondered how he would loose all the weight. I giggled as I looked at natsu in his food coma. I felt someone watching me. I turned to see Mark staring at me with lust in his eyes. I suddenly felt really nervous and turned back to natsu.

"Hey Natsu. Let's go to our room now ok?" I ask and poke at him. He just lays there with a stupid grin on his face. "Natsu I'm serious let's go." I whine and be doesn't budge. "Nats-" I'm cut off by a hand over my mouth. I kick and yell but to no avail.

I try everything but he's to strong. I'm dragged down a hallway and thrown into a room. I scurry to the corner and hug my knees to my chest.

"Dear dear Y/N. Such a naive beauty." Mark says with a menacing tone

"What do you want with me?!" I yell

"Revenge my dear. Your little boyfriend nearly killed my brother and our cousins for hurting you. And after all I did to protect them to."

"What do you mean by that?!" I spat at him

"How do you think they only got 5 years in jail? Me. I bribed the judge to let them off easy. After all they only kidnapped you for me. I wanted you all to myself. Yeah I let them get carried away but I still had my way with you. I let them dispose of you once I had my fill." He whispered the last part in your ear and you shudder. Then your eyes grow wide.

"It was you that raped me! That's why I know your voice!" You cry out and scream.

"Indeed I was my dear." He says with a grin

"Wait till Natsu finds out..."

I was cut off by him laughing.

"He won't. I put poison in his food. It's a miracle he's still alive. He should be dead soon." He laughs evilly and you start to cry your eyes out.

"No. NO! NATSUUU!" You voice echoes down the hallways followed by marks evil laughter.

Back in the dining room natsu is woken up by your screams and by happy slapping his face and crying.

"Natsu! Wake up you idiot! Y/N needs you!" He screams while slapping Natsu's face over and over again. Natsu opens his eyes and sits up. His food belly is gone and he appears to be ok.

"Natsu!" Happy yells and hugs him.

"Hey little buddy. Where's Y/N?" Natsu asks and happy cries.

"She's been taken by that Mark guy. I over heard him say he poisoned you and you should be dead and how he was the one that raped Y/N and helped those guys get off the hook. He's the mastermind Natsu!" Happy cries and Natsu gets enraged and engulfs his whole body in flames.

"Where are they?" Natsu asks angrily.

Happy points down the hall and natsu runs and follows his nose into the right room. He breaks the door down in one hit

"Y/N!" He yells with rage.

He sees her and Mark fighting and Mark is winning. Natsu grabs Mark and throws him through the wall he then proceeds to slam him to the ground over and over again while keeping his body covered in fire. Soon there was nothing left of Mark but a battered and partially burnt body. He was still alive but he'd never be the same. You hear groans and gasps of air coming from the body but ignore it and rush to natsu. You don't hug him because his body is still covered in flames.

"N-natsu" you whisper. He turns and looks at you and relaxes. He gets rid of his flames and grabs you and hugs you.

"Is he alive?" You ask

"Yes. But he won't be the same ever again. He's going to be scarred." Natsu says softly

"Can we go home now?" You ask

"Yeah but first we need to take this guy to jail so he can be punished for his crimes."

You nod and natsu picks the man up and receives a chorus of screams.

After you both take him to jail you hop on the last train home.

"So apparently the job was a lure to get you there Natsu. He planned on killing you for hurting his family even after what they did to me. He planned everything from the beginning." You explain to natsu as he groans on the train.

You grab him again and hold him close so he can rest and once again happy cuddles up and sleeps on your lap.

Having these two around makes me forget all my troubles. You think to yourself as you smile and fall asleep.

Once you get home you inform everyone of the occurrences that happened and head home. Master wasn't happy. No doubt he will be more strict on the jobs and who goes on the jobs.
