New detective (Connor x Reader)

Greetings Android - Part 1

"Are you nervous?" Your bestie on the phone asks "Um, of course I am Mist! I'm from C/N, not Detroit!" You take a bite of your toast "Well, I wish you luck N/N. Have fun with all those deviants" Mist hangs up the phone before you could make a joke or even say goodbye. You sigh and look at your new badge before putting it on "I don't like being on my own again...maybe I'll find someone here than just being glued to a phone like a 12 year old" You laugh at yourself as you exit the house with your phone and keys. You take a deep breath as you enter your car and drive to DPD.

You walk in and prepare to talk to Captain Fowler in his office "Good morning Detective L/N." Captain Fowler greets you formally as you sit down and smile gently to him "It is a pleasure to work in Detroit captain" you say as you prepare to hear about what you are assigned to "You will take over Lieutenant Anderson's work, homocides involving with deviants." Captain Fowler hands you a file filled with information about deviants "Thank you Captain Fowler but, I have all information about deviants so I won't need this" you gently push the files away back to Captain Fowler. He coughs a little "Then I don't need you in my room anymore, take any free desks as you can and get to work immediately. We can't have slacking off in these kinds of homocides." He firmly says "I understand sir, I swear on my degree that I will not fail you" you pull on your serious tone and give him a firm but yet reassure face to tell him he can trust you. He only nods to you and dismisses you.

You read all the recent files about deviant homocides as someone walks up to your desk, you look up to see an android that you've never seen before "My name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife" Connor puts his hand out to you expecting you to shake it "It is nice to meet you Connor. I'm detective L/N but please, call me Y/N instead" you smile as you shake his firm hand "May I ask you where Lieutenant Anderson is?" Connor looks at you with his somehow charmingly chocolate eyes "O-oh! You must be my new partner! I'm sorry to tell you but, Lieutenant Anderson got injured and I was transferred here because of my recent history of deviants" you stare at your new partner as his LED turns yellow and then back to blue "I see, this won't effect my mission though. I'm honored to be your partner Y/N" he programmingly smiles at you "me too Connor. I think we'll get a long just fine then" you smile back at the android.

You can't wait to complete the mission with him.
