New detective (Connor x Reader)

HANGOUT - CHAPTER 6

You finish your essay and sigh "that could've went better..." You grow frustrated and hit your fist against your desk, making Connor jump to the sound. "We could've known about these signs easier if they weren't so stupid to jump!" You grit your teeth against each other and growl under your heavy breathing "Detective, you're just hungry. Let's go somewhere to calm down" Connor slowly strokes your back making you instantly calm down and blush in embarrassment "r-right, I'm sorry you saw that Connor..." you look down at your bruised fist and release it to look at your palm. You get up from your chair and start walking with Connor to F/FF (Favourite Fast Food) to grab a bite to eat.

On the way to F/FF you realise that Connor is holding you close and squeezing gently onto your hip to keep a good grip "Connor, are you okay?" You look at his hand and look up at him "I do not know what you mean by that Y/N" he looks at you, confused, you sigh "You're gripping onto my hip, Connor" Connor blushes blue but doesn't let go of you "strange, is that normal with androids?" You may have been investigating 5 years with deviant cases but you never spent time with an android "I-I'm fine Y/N, I was just worried you would get frustrated again" you tell Connor you will be fine and that he shouldn't worry. You smile at him "you also look cute blushing" Connor looks away and thanks you for the compliment.

You arrive at F/FF and order the meal you usually get, once the meal arrives you sit down with Connor in front of you and begin eating. You chat for a while to know about each other more, but you were interested in him and didn't wanna talk about you anymore "So, androids blush a blue colour though you were designed to look human?" You giggle at the joke question but Connor stays silent for a while "I don't know why I blushed, androids can't blush..." you almost freeze at the sentence and struggle to speak "Connor...are you a...deviant...?" You regret asking the question when he looks down in shame of himself "Of course not Y/N, I hunt deviants, I do not become deviant." He looks back at you with his calm but more firm voice "I'm sorry if I offended you Connor" you apologise and look down at your empty tray "you were only being curious, I was programmed to adapt to humans" he winks at you with a smirk, you instantly blush at his action and he starts laughing "w-what is it?" You sound like a child annoyed at their parents

"Nothing, you just look cute blushing."
