My Heart's Music

Chapter 1

I woke up at 1 pm the next day, since we work at night, most times we sleep in. I got out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror, I chuckled a bit at how I look then I went to the bathroom and showered. I walked out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist and another towel on my head, I went to my room and got dressed, my hair was still wet so I left the towel on my head.

I went downstairs where I saw Mikasa and Armin eating at the dinning table "Hey guys" I said "Hey sleepy head" Mikasa said and Armin chuckled at the nickname she used. "I told you not to call me that Mikasa" I said with a slight growl "Whatever" she said "Eren there's a plate of food in the kitchen" Armin told me "Thanks Armin" I said and went to the kitchen to grab the plate, I grabbed it and went back to the dinning table where I sat down and ate.

After eating we went out to the park together to meet up with our friends Connie, Sasha, Reiner, Bertholt, Annie and Ymir. "Hey guys, nice to see you have free time" I said as I greeted them "Yeah Christa is helping at a puppy dog hospital again so she couldn't come, she'll show up later" Ymir said "Not surprise there" said Annie "Alright" I said.

"So can we go get food now?!" Sasha asked excitedly "Sasha stop thinking about food for once" Mikasa said, I just chuckled with Armin and Connie "Oh come on I'm hungry" Sasha said "You're always hungry" Reiner said "Wanna play some soccer guys?" I asked as I grabbed a ball from my backpack "Sure" Connie, Reiner and Bertholt agreed. "I think I'll just watch you guys while listening to music" Armin said "Aww come on Armin" I whined "Eren I really don't want to play" Armin said "Fine" I agreed. "Wanna play volleyball girls?" Annie asked while throwing a volley ball to Mikasa "Sure, why not?" Ymir said "Can we get food after?" Sasha asked "Let's just play" Mikasa said.

Me, Connie, Reiner and Bertholt went to a clearing and so did the girls but a bit away from us, we played soccer and the girls played volleyball while Armin watched us. Armin played a No name song and we all enjoyed it while playing.

After about an hour of us playing soccer and the girls volleyball it was already around a quarter to 3. We all sat down on the grass together and talked until "Hey guys, sorry I'm late" that was Christa "It's fine Christa" Ymir said as she got up and hugged her. "So now that we're all here wanna go-" I got cut off by Connie "What about Jean and Marco?" he asked "They're probably at home cuddling or something" Sasha said "Let's not interrupt them" Christa said "Interrupt who?" someone said from behind us, we turned and saw Jean and Marco standing there with Jean's arm around Marco's waist. "Okay nevermind they are here too so anyway as I was saying wanna go eat somewhere?" I asked "Yes finally!" Sasha exclaimed excited.

We all agreed to go to this near by McRose's and eat there, we were glad we found a table where we could all sit. We got our food, sat down outside, ate and chatted, you could hear a few laughs here and there at times, we just joked around while having fun just spending time with each other.

When we all finally decided to go our separate ways it was around 6 pm, Mikasa and I went home and so did everyone else except Armin who had to go to work, I go to work about an hour and half after he does so I relaxed on my bed while playing games on my phone.

After about playing games for an hour and 15 minutes, I got changed for work and went downstairs, I got my black converse on and went to the door "Bye Mikasa I'm going to work" I said bye to Mikasa "Okay bye Eren!" she yelled from the kitchen, so I leave for work at 7:30 and she leaves 15 minutes after me. I walked to the night bar again listening to music but I feel like I'm forgetting something.

I got to work and waved to Armin, he gave me a smile, I grabbed my mic and put it on "Good evening everyone" I said to the crowd, today was a bit more crowded then usual but that didn't bother me. "Let's go with number 23 Armin" I said to him, he nodded and said "Sure thing" he played the song and I sang it.

I'm not positive why I choose this song first but eh, I'm gonna at least get it out of my system. After this song I sang a few more different songs when I remembered an old song I wrote a while ago, I'm not sure why it popped into my head but I decided I would sing it "Hey Armin, play number 104" I said, he looked at me a bit confused "Isn't that one of your old songs?" he asked and I just nodded "But first I'm gonna take a break, I need to make a phone call" I said "Okay then" he said.

I remembered one more thing while singing, I had to call that Erwin guy "Okay we're gonna take a 10 minute break" I said to the crowd then put my mic on Armin's desk where his laptop was, I went off stage and grabbed my phone and the business card out of my pocket.

I typed in the number and pressed call, I put the phone to my ear and it rang 2 times before I heard the guys voice "Hello?" he answered. "Oh um hi it's Eren" I said "Oh Eren it's nice to hear from you so have you thought about my offer?" he asked "Yes and I would like to invite you to the night bar so we could talk about it after my shift" I said "Of course, when would you like me to come?" he asked "If you could come right now it would be perfect and I would sing 3 more songs and then my shift would end" I answered, I was getting let off my shift early so I had time to talk after my shift, right now it was 11:48 pm, so I hope I won't be bothering him. "Unless I'm interrupting something" I added "No you're not, I'll be there in a few minutes" he said "Alright I guess I'll see you in a few" I said "Yes bye Eren" he said and hung up, I put my phone back in my pocket with the business card and got a juice from Katherine, she also gave me a smile.
