Chapter 4

A/N I didn't draw the pup in the picture I just did the background and that's how pup Corporal looks.

I woke up at 11 am next morning, it was sunday so I had a longer shift today at work because people apparently liked to go out on sundays. I sat up when I noticed that Corporal wasn't on my bed, I looked around and he wasn't in my room either, I got out of bed, stretched and yawned "Corporal" I called out for him, but nothing, I heard Armin's puppy from his room bark happily, I walked out of my room and called out again "Corporal where are you boy?" I didn't hear him. Then Mikasa yelled to me from downstairs "He's in the dinning room eating!" she yelled "Okay thanks!" I yelled back, then I remembered what Krista said and I went back in my room and grabbed one of those Dentastix from the cupboard I put some of his stuff in, I grabbed the one that was already broken in half, I was about to go downstairs to give it to Corporal but he beat me to it and was at the door of my bedroom already. "Hey boy" I kneeled down and put out my hand with the half of the stick, he approached me and took it as I pet him softly, he chewed on it as I stood back up and started to change into some normal clothes which were dark blue skinny jeans and a black t-shirt with black converse and also a bracelet as a little detail.

I was about to walk out of my bedroom when "Ruff!" Corporal barked, I think he has something in his mouth because his cute ruff was a bit muffled. I turned on my heel and saw Corporal on my bed holding his brush by then handle between his teeth "Oh, I have to groom you" I said and went to him, I sat down on my bed as he went on my lap and sat down with his back turned to me, I put my hand under his mouth "Drop" I said and he dropped the brush into my hand then I started to groom him.

After about half an hour of grooming him, he finally jumped off my lap and I was covered in his fur, I sighed as I got a bag and put what was on the brush and what I could get from my lap off into the plastic bag. I dusted the rest off as much as I could, but my jeans were covered in his fur so I changed into another pair of skinny jeans but these were a light blue.

Anyway I finally went downstairs where I was greeted by Mikasa "Morning Eren" she said "Morning Mikasa" I said and walked to the kitchen where I grabbed something to eat while Corporal followed me. I sat at the dinning table and ate as I was finishing up, Corporal looked at me then nudged his bowl of water "Hm? Oh right the water" I said remembering and grabbed his water bowl as I went to the kitchen, I put my empty plate in the sink and then poured the water from yesterday and filled it up with fresh water then went back to the dinning room. I kneeled down in front of Corporal and put his water bowl next to his food bowl and he drank some of it after he did he looked at me and I pet him. "Want to go outside to explore your new surroundings?" I asked him while petting him then went to the door and he followed "Mikasa I'm going out with Corporal" I called from the door "Okay don't be long Eren" she called from her bedroom I'm guessing. I put his body thing on and attached the leash to it then grabbed my keys and put them in my pocket then opened the door and we walked out.

We went to the park and played with some branches even tho he likes the ball at home I can tell he likes to play with branches too. After we walked around again then I got a call from the bar manager Pixis and stopped walking, I answered it "Hello?" I answered "Hello Eren, I need you to come to the bar" he said "Why? Did something happen?" I asked it's too early for my shift so did something happen? "No no I just need to talk to you" he answered "Alright then I'll be there in a few minutes" I said, hung up then sighed. I walked with Corporal to the night bar and when we got to the entrance I picked him up and went inside with him "Hello Pixis?" I called out "Oh Eren over here" he called to me from a booth in the back, I went to it and sat across from him "So why do you need to talk to me?" I asked while petting Corporal. "It's about your free week" Pixis said 'Oh no' I thought "If you break your promise-" he cut me off "No Eren, you won't be working you deserve the break, I just need you to come on thursday" he said "Why tho? I don't want to work" I whined slightly "You won't work someone just wants to talk to me and they requested you to be there" he said. "Requested me? Why?" I asked "I'm not sure, but will you be able to join us?" he asked "Um....I don't know, it all depends, my life is kind of eventful these last few days" I said, he took his flask out and drank from it "Well if you can come the meeting wil be at 7 pm" he said "Alright, thank you for informing me and I'll be seeing you tonight" I said as I got up "See you tonight Eren" he said and I walked out of the bar.
