Chapter 3

The next day I woke up at 2:17 pm, I got out of bed, went to the bathroom and showered. I went back to my bedroom and put on a greyish green shirt, black jeans and my blue jacket. I went downstairs and got greeted by Armin who was wearing a white shirt, black jeans and a green jacket then Mikasa who was wearing a red shirt, black jeans, a greyish jacket and that scarf I gave her when we were kids, she almost always wears it. I'm glad today is saturday, I don't have work today and neither do Mikasa and Armin. "Hi guys" I greeted them back "Go eat Eren, Reiner will pick us up soon" Mikasa said "Mm...alright" I said and went to the kitchen, I grabbed my food and ate.

Yesterday while diner we talked about going out again, so Reiner was picking us up. As soon as I finished eating there was a honk outside from a car "Guys it's Reiner!" Armin yelled from the door "Come on Eren" Mikasa said "Alright let me just get my shoes on" I said as I put my plate in the dishwasher. I went to my room and got my converse on, as I got back downstairs I saw Mikasa put her backpack on her back and go outside, I followed after her and locked the door after me. "Come on guys!" Reiner yelled to us from his car, we got in and then Reiner started driving. "So where we meeting up again?" Reiner asked "At Krista's" I said "Didn't Armin tell you when he called you this morning?" Mikasa asked "I guess I forgot" Reiner said.

We got to Krista's house in no time and as soon as we walked into the yard that was surrounded by fences we got jumped by puppies. We all smiled at each other, knelt down and pet the puppies "Hey guys"Krista said in her sweet voice as she approached us. "Hi Krista" we all said in union then we all chuckled a bit "So what's with the puppies?" I asked "Well they needed room in the puppy dog hospital and these puppies were all healthy so they put them out for adoption with a lot of other puppies but these weren't taken in so a bunch of employes took some puppies in including me" she said sweetly. That's our Krista for you "But why take in...1, 2, 3....8 puppies?" Reiner asked as he counted the puppies "Well 9 were left and no one else could take in any so I took them thinking maybe you guys would want one" she said 'That's thoughtful' I thought "Seems like that one took a liking to Armin" Krista said looking at Armin, I turned to look at the sight and saw Armin being liked on the cheek by one of the puppies "Aww" I said out loud "I guess I'll take one" said Reiner "I'll take this one" Armin said petting the one that licked him.

I looked at the puppies"Wait didn't you say that you took 9 in?" I asked Krista "Oh yeah I did, he must be in the dog house, he doesn't socialize much" Krista said with a small sad smile "Can I see him?" I asked, she smiled happily and kindly said "Of course, you guys can go inside, the others are already inside" she said the second part to Mikasa, Armin and Reiner, and so they went inside as I followed Krista to the dog house.

When we got to it she kneeled down in front of the house and looked inside "Hey boy, come out for a bit someone wants to see you" she said softly, I kneeled on the opposite side of her and saw a small black furred puppy come out, he had a bit of fur on his head that were longer and looked like a little hair style on him, he seemed a bit smaller than the other puppies and I smiled softly as I saw him. He looked at Krista first as she sat down on the grass then he looked at me, he had what looked like silver-gray eyes "Wow, his eyes are amazing" I said softly "I know their really beautiful just like your eyes Eren" she said with a smile "Thanks Krista" I said and looked back at the puppy who approached me slowly and sniffed my hand. "Heh" I slowly lifted my hand to pet him but he backed away a bit "Is he scared of me?" I asked Krista "No he just needs to get used to-" she stopped when she looked down at him, he was under my hand letting me pet him, I pet him softly. "He usually doesn't let anyone pet him, not even Ymir and he's been with us for a week" she said a bit shocked but then she smiled. "I guess he likes you" she said sweetly "I guess so, will it be okay if I picked him up?" I asked her "I don't know, you need to ask him, this is the first time he actually approached someone who he liked" she said "Okay" I said and looked down at him "Hey little guy can I pick you up?" I asked softly, he then growled slightly then let me pick him up, I slightly hesitated then picked him up. "He doesn't like being called little, Ymir learned that the hard way" Krista said giggling, I let out a slight "oh" and then looked down at the puppy in my arms. "So why do you call him well him and not by a name?" I asked as I got up with him in my arms, he looked up at me slightly before he realized what was going on, then Krista got up "Because he doesn't like any name I suggest to call him" she said politely answering my question, I let out another "oh" and looked down at him again as I pet him softly. He enjoys it and his tail wags happily, I smiled softly "So wanna go inside?" Krista asked "Sure, can I take him with us?" I asked "Of course" she said and we walked to the inside of the house.
